Alpha helped with structural plans for windows in a garden level unit in order to prepare the proposal for city approval. Alpha is a big company and it took them a little while to complete everything; however I can certainly say that the engineer and contact people were knowledgeable and thorough. The plans were approved with their help and now that the unit is permitted for occupancy, the windows are a lovely attribute to the space."

We did our homework, researched over 8 companies, and met with 5. The moment we met Moshe, we knew he was the right person for us. He was the right price, had the right temperament, the right balance of speed and detail orientation, and most importantly, he listened to what we wanted. While other contractors tried to push us into their vision, Moshe respected ours and guided us with smart advice that improved the design for real-life living. It was truly the perfect match. From day one, Moshe was on top of everything. He always had a team on site, and they worked tirelessly through what was no small project: three bathrooms, moving the laundry room, relocating the kitchen, laundry and 2 bedrooms, installing new structural supports, moving multiple windows, moving a slider door and so much more. We even made changes along the way, and he accommodated seamlessly. Incredibly, all of this was completed in just three months, fully permitted and signed off by the city. The quality speaks for itself. Every wall, cabinet, and tile is perfectly placed. During our walkthrough, we nitpicked small things, but Moshe was already ahead of us, pointing them out himself and immediately bringing in his team to perfect the final touches. He also gave us the “Moshe Guarantee”: if anything comes up in the months or years ahead, just call and he’ll send someone out. That level of pride and accountability is rare. What impressed us just as much was the caliber of his entire team. Every single person Moshe brought onto our property was kind, respectful, and excellent at their craft, from Miguel the electrician to Victor, who built out our wardrobe, hung shutters, and took care of countless details. It was clear that Moshe surrounds himself with true professionals. I truly cannot recommend Moshe and Construction Masters highly enough. They turned a daunting remodel into a smooth, exciting process, and the results exceeded our expectations. "I hired Better Together Builders for a major home renovation and have paid over $130K toward the project. While some work was completed, my overall experience has been disappointing due to delays, unfinished tasks, and a lack of attention to detail. I am currently pursuing legal action against this company for their failure to fulfill contractual obligations and for the damages caused. Specific examples from my project: • Electrical work was left incomplete, requiring me to hire a licensed electrician at my own expense to finish it. • Several areas were installed without proper preparation, resulting in chipped slabs, misaligned cuts, unpatched drywall holes, and exposed wiring. • Communication and follow-up became inconsistent, and I often had to chase updates to keep the project moving. • Extended delays caused me to lose months of potential rental income, while I also had to pay for temporary housing. This review reflects my personal experience and is not intended to cause harm, but to inform others. If you decide to work with BTB, I strongly recommend documenting every stage of the project, inspecting work before releasing payments, and ensuring all contracted items are fully completed before signing off."

"Bait and switch. I obtained multiple quotes for my foundation. Dalinghaus Construction quoted me 19 piers to stabilize my home. I questioned why their competitors were quoting me over 30 piers; and they reassured me I was being over quoted by their competitors. Long story short, I went with Dalinghaus. During construction, a rep (David F) came by to drop off some tools and found that 19 piers would not be enough. They said I needed 14 more piers (totaling 33– same as their competitors). I’m stuck because I cannot leave my home half stabilized. No other reputable company would complete the job if another company started it. I was obligated to move forward with Dalinghaus. No one called to apologize for the misstep. They invoiced me and could care less how much this would affect my family. They proceeded to install14 more piers but left 14 large holes— they said backfilling was not part of the scope of work, while the original 19 were backfilled. Insanely strange why they think I wanted 14 large holes at my home. So this is where they gave me a “discount.” They backfilled the holes for free. Free? It should be included in the work. All in all, why do I have to pay for a mistake of this magnitude? I’ve tried to work it out with them peacefully but they have not provided me anything that would make this right. Only excuses why they should not compensate me. They have no integrity. They only care about their reputation at this point (they want my bbb review taken down). I would like to be compensated for the 14 additional piers that were missed from the original quote. 14 additional piers is a completely new job, not a “new work order.” They are the professional and should have done a more thorough assessment to provide me an accurate quote. Their competitors seemed to have done so but I was sadly duped by Dalinghaus. They baited me in and switched the price after the work started. $38k is a lot to lose. I have 2 small children and a home that needs to be completed. Ps. I’ve been waiting over 2 months for a resolution."
