"Had this company come out just to clean the fireplace and our dryer vent. The technician that worked on it clearly didn’t know what he was doing and the tech that was supervising him was outside in the car waiting. When he cleaned my dryer vent he made a mess and scratched up my brand new washer and dryer. He also stepped on the plug breaking it and almost causing a fire with my newborn baby and wife in the house because he said nothing. I came into the laundry room after he packed up and was about to pull away. I ran outside to tell him it was a mess and my dryer is dented and scratched as well as my washer. They are brand new just bought them and if they were delivered with a scratch would have been replaced by Home Depot. I had to call over and over in order to get someone to acknowledge the fact that this happened, continually being questioned are you sure the washer and dryer aren’t ten years old? I literally bought them a few months back and told them I had receipts to prove it. Then they tried to tell me their tech didn’t step on my plug ripping it out of the wall. I told them we had zero issues before they came out. My wife smelt the burning from the front of the house and stopped it or we would have had a fire confirmed by the electrician. The electrician told me it was definitely because of their tech and then I let the owner Martin know. He still tried to deny it and said he called them and they said it was our plugs fault it wears overtime. I then gave him the number of the electrician that came out and told him he was wrong again. Just very upsetting that someone puts your family in danger and continues to try and say it’s your issue. The electrician said because the tech stepped on it and didn’t say anything ripping it out of the wall chords came disconnected and we’re touching causing it to burn. Still trying to get someone out to fix the dents. He has paid me $300 for scratches on washer and got the electrician out after over a week of me bugging them but still waiting on someone to try to pull dents out of my washer. They said they will let me know when they have someone available. Very unprofessional and I’ve been communicating with owner the whole time. If you want to have someone put your family at risk and damage your proper Definitely go with these guys."

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"We had a sudden spike in water usage two weekends ago. It was clearly from the water pipe attached to the sprinkler system manifold. I attempted to repair it myself, but the fix didn't take. I called Armstrong based on their reviews on this site. We set up an appointment for the morning (8-12) on the 26th; there was no rush for the fix as we wouldn't need to use the sprinklers for a while and shutting off the water to the sprinkler system stopped the flow. I received a text message on the 25th confirming my appointment for 8am-12pm on the 26th. At 11:55 on the 26th, I called for a status check on the technician. They had me on their schedule for the afternoon. It was confirmed that the text message I was sent confirmed the earlier time frame. They had no explanation for the error. Still not a major issue, but now my entire day was shot. The technician arrived within the time frame. He assessed the issue. It required a simply re-cementing of the fittings, but he wasn't sure it would work (outside temperatures, the PVC pipe itself, etc). He also didn't have the zip ties he wanted that would help secure the pipes while the cement was curing; I didn't have any, either, but I did come with an alternative that he found acceptable. He completed the work, and basically said that we'll have to see if it worked. The good news is that we have some time before I have to turn the water on again which will give the cement time to set. He did offer a quote for replacement of the entire sprinkler manifold as a permanent solution. Although I recognize there are variables in repairs and that it may truly need additional work, I was underwhelmed by the service received."

"OMG I am so thankful for finding this company!! I was searching for companies to repair our roof after the Sacramento New Year's Eve storm. It took time to hear from our insurance company because of the volume of calls being made. The adjuster notified me to start looking for roofers right away, because it may be hard to find companies that repaired metal type roofs. Some said they did and then came out and said they didn't! It was a lot of work until I got ahold of this company. Wade came out and was so nice and assured me that they have the materials and could repair the roof which other companies said they had to locate the type and color! I got on their calendar and again I am so thankful. They do roofs and I also found out from a friend who used them that they do gutters also!! It took 5 months to get to our roof inspected and finding a company to do the work! Thank you Kim, Wade and the team for being a blessing through this trying time! We are happy customers!!!"

"It went well. I was quoted a price on the phone and when they got to my home and realized they had brought the wrong part, they made arrangements to return the next day. However, the price they gave me was more than what I was quoted on the phone. The manager Kim, listened to my original phone call that was made and called me back saying I was quoted the wrong price on the phone. They stood by what I was originally quoted and I really appreciated that. They apologized saying the person I spoke with was still a little new but they honored the price I was quoted."

It failed 4 times and cost $1,000+ for labor and it was time to replace it. We asked for bids and Giddens Brothers had the most solutions and best price. Paul Giddens thoroughly educated us on all our alternatives and suggested a manufacturer that had an aluminum condenser that cost about $1,000 less then we paid 9 years earlier. The next week two very professional technicians installed a new unit and inspected all ducts, registers. They found air leakage in all locations and sealed all registers. How come it took over 30 years to find these problems? We are now a very pleased Giddens Brothers customer."
