"The purchase was excellent with no high pressure too buy more than what I needed. The installation was excellent as Jordan did a great job and did not leave any mess. He was on time and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend this business to anyone."

"This deal must be popular because it took them almost two weeks to contact us. Jason came out and checked out what we currently have and gave me numerous options to choose from. He also explained how the gas line would be brought into the fireplace and gave me a cost for that (which isn't part of the Big Deal). Jason suggested we go into their shop to pick out what glass, rocks or logs we wanted. We got to see them all in fireplaces with fire and without. We ended up picking a rock which we did not intend to do and we love it! We scheduled a day and time with Jason about 3 weeks out, and asked him if he could come sooner if someone cancelled. It worked! We got everything put in 8 days early. There was a crew of two guys who came promptly at 8 AM. They were clean and respectful of our home. They covered the floor with a drop cloth. They had everything removed, inserted and cleaned by 1 PM (2 hours ahead of schedule). We love it. We got a remote control and there is a variable speed fan. Very easy

"They were very efficient and thorough. They cleaned up after themselves and overall did a great job. I had them out again the next weekend for more work, and my neighbor used them too."

"We are VERY PLEASED with our experience from start to finish. Nathan and his coworker were direct, honest, respectful, and punctual. They said they would be arriving at 0800 and they were on site 15 minutes prior on both days. They cleaned up the work area and asked if everything was to our satisfaction. Cost: 3 other contractors bid were 2 to 3 times the cost of Garcia's. I would definitely recommend this company if you need plumbing and or gas-related repairs. They will be my go-to company for future work. Thank you, Nathan!!!"

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

Safety steps include proper vent installation, connector tightness, and leak testing. A safe environment must be maintained throughout.

Safety precautions include proper ventilation, regular inspections for leaks, and ensuring tanks and fittings are in good condition to prevent accidental release or fire hazards.

A few potential problems can cause your gas grill to stop working:

  • Burners aren’t properly aligned.

  • Food debris is clogging the burners.

  • Hose connections may be blocked.

  • Burners may not be getting enough gas.

  • Gas valve is not working properly.

If you’re experiencing any of those problems with your gas grill, hire a local grill repair professional to inspect your grill for issues and implement a plan to resolve them.

On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. The exact lifespan depends on several factors, including the brand and quality of the grill, frequency of use, and whether the gas line is buried or above ground. With proper maintenance and care, such as regular deep cleanings to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits, a grill's life can be extended. Protecting the grill from the elements with a cover can also prevent rust and reduce the need for repairs. Most grill manufacturers also offer extended warranties, which vary in coverage and terms.

Local codes often mandate specific fittings, permits, and vent considerations for permitted function and safety, which are enforced by professionals.
