The first thing people notice and comment on when they enter our home are the floors. The quality and workmanship are superior and we couldn't be happier! We had a plan but changed/added some things last minute, and Manny was so professional and happy to go with the flow of our changes without any issues. He started and finished per schedule and was always available to speak with any time we had questions. We even had a security issue with someone potentially creeping around our home after hours, (turned out to be a false alarm), but Manny, who was closer to our home than we were, dropped everything and met with the police to investigate. "Bernd is a very talented builder and craftsman, and a very fair and honest person that is a pleasure to deal with, and super responsive (which I have found to be uncommon in his field). He just completed a full renovation of our recently purchased ski condo in Mammoth Lakes, CA - we couldnâ t be happier with the end result, and we are the envy of all of our neighbors. Bernd installed new floors throughout - they look amazing- the details on the stairs are stand out spectacular (heâ s very good), he installed our brand new kitchen, did the most amazing tile work in 3 bathrooms and our kitchen backsplash, turned a closet into a laundry room, painted the entire place, fixed drywall after the plumbers and electricians came through, installed a 2 story tall sandstone brick wall behind our fireplace, and put our place completely back together and it just came out so amazing. He did more too - fixed our decks, installed the toilets, built the shower pans as part of the tile work, installed shelving plus more - and it was all done beautifully. Bernd takes one job at a time and will travel. This was ideal for us considering Mammoth has a limited work force of subcontractors that can do this work. Bernd is not cheap, but for the work he does, itâ s more than fair. The local guys up there know they are in high demand and will throw out well above market quotes to see if you will engage them out of desperation- we felt so lucky to have found Bernd to do this work for us. Bernd travels with Teddy, a super cute Frenchie that is super well behaved and lovable. We would definitely hire Bernd (and Teddy) for our next project."

Tile company to completely remove our very old shower... he did a great job with keeping everything clean and protected. Also, did a beautiful job artistically lining up the tiles to reflect a waterfall-like flow coming down from the top.. It came out unique and looks like I paid a lot of money for this project but, actually it was very reasonable. We paid out of pocket for all materials. "Today, Kris and one of his employees came to remedy my complaints.  He explained that he hired a tile layer (who did my job) through a general contractor who he often works with and offered to find the same limestone and have someone else replace the tiles that were gouged, chipped and not layer evenly at no additional cost.  The other alternative was to sand down the lip of the poorly placed tiles and grout.  I chose the later. In addition, they cleaned and grouted areas that they missed before.  
Kris was eager to remedy the problems I identified and put me on his schedule to clean my limestone floors next year at no charge.  He is truly and gentleman, eager to do a good job for me, who had the misfortune of a couple of problem employees who no longer work with him."
