"Bernd is a very talented builder and craftsman, and a very fair and honest person that is a pleasure to deal with, and super responsive (which I have found to be uncommon in his field). He just completed a full renovation of our recently purchased ski condo in Mammoth Lakes, CA - we couldnâ t be happier with the end result, and we are the envy of all of our neighbors. Bernd installed new floors throughout - they look amazing- the details on the stairs are stand out spectacular (heâ s very good), he installed our brand new kitchen, did the most amazing tile work in 3 bathrooms and our kitchen backsplash, turned a closet into a laundry room, painted the entire place, fixed drywall after the plumbers and electricians came through, installed a 2 story tall sandstone brick wall behind our fireplace, and put our place completely back together and it just came out so amazing. He did more too - fixed our decks, installed the toilets, built the shower pans as part of the tile work, installed shelving plus more - and it was all done beautifully. Bernd takes one job at a time and will travel. This was ideal for us considering Mammoth has a limited work force of subcontractors that can do this work. Bernd is not cheap, but for the work he does, itâ s more than fair. The local guys up there know they are in high demand and will throw out well above market quotes to see if you will engage them out of desperation- we felt so lucky to have found Bernd to do this work for us. Bernd travels with Teddy, a super cute Frenchie that is super well behaved and lovable. We would definitely hire Bernd (and Teddy) for our next project."
