Ruescher Bernd Gerhard

Bernd is a very talented builder and craftsman, and a very fair and honest person that is a pleasure to deal with, and super responsive (which I have found to be uncommon in his field). He just completed a full renovation of our recently purchased ski condo in Mammoth Lakes, CA - we couldnâ t be happier with the end result, and we are the envy of all of our neighbors. Bernd installed new floors throughout - they look amazing- the details on the stairs are stand out spectacular (heâ s very good), he installed our brand new kitchen, did the most amazing tile work in 3 bathrooms and our kitchen backsplash, turned a closet into a laundry room, painted the entire place, fixed drywall after the plumbers and electricians came through, installed a 2 story tall sandstone brick wall behind our fireplace, and put our place completely back together and it just came out so amazing. He did more too - fixed our decks, installed the toilets, built the shower pans as part of the tile work, installed shelving plus more - and it was all done beautifully. Bernd takes one job at a time and will travel. This was ideal for us considering Mammoth has a limited work force of subcontractors that can do this work. Bernd is not cheap, but for the work he does, itâ s more than fair. The local guys up there know they are in high demand and will throw out well above market quotes to see if you will engage them out of desperation- we felt so lucky to have found Bernd to do this work for us. Bernd travels with Teddy, a super cute Frenchie that is super well behaved and lovable. We would definitely hire Bernd (and Teddy) for our next project.

A man of great integrity and his expertise in everything he does is so admirable he did our entire home floor tiling and other tiling in 2020 and we couldn't have been more pleased and now we had him paint our entire 2015 square foot home and he takes the time to get it perfectly beautiful

Bernd was excellent. He arrived on the first day and started to work immediately. He is mature and takes his business seriously. He was extremely reliable and worked diligently to get the project completed. He never bothered us nor did he make up any issues like some other contractors to up charge, in fact there were no issues at all. He is highly skilled and a perfectionist. I highly recommend Bernd, you will have no worries and be very happy with the results. We have already scheduled other projects with him at our other house. We feel very lucky and grateful we found him, especially hearing what our friends and others have experienced lately with their contractors.

We have hired Bernd several times to do a variety of things for us. This project included laminate floor installation, back splash tile work and painting of kitchen cabinets and walls. He is always the consummate professional. He is neat and tidy, does very precise work, always cleans up after himself, and he's always done ahead of schedule. His pricing extremely fair. I wish there was more stars to give Bernd! He is an absolute pro at tile installation! Bernd tiled our entire condo as well as our outdoor patio space which require quite a bit of leveling. He is thoughtful about design, very detailed, and has a meticulous hand with his cuts. He will be tiling our kitchen backsplash as well when the materials arrive. He's also super pleasant to work with, very communicative, & he is totally fair and honest in pricing. I can't say enough good things about his work ethic, skill and integrity. Hire this man and you will not be disappointed!! He's a rare gem out there, an expert at what he does and a wonderful human!

Bernd is an incredible person. He has outstanding personal & work ethics (honest, professional, pleasant, knowledgeable, extremely neat & organized, very conscious of his work & environment!). If you are lucky enough to find Bernd Reuscher, you will be amazed with the quality of his work, meticulous attention to details, clean and conscientious work manner and tremendous value for such a high skill level. He is a gem and a quality tile contractor like him is rare. We searched for other tile contractors in La Quinta to handle our walk-in shower and surround, and none of them seemed have the kind of reviews like Bernd has. He also did a subway tile accent wall in our half bath and the cuts came out perfect! I now understand why his reviews were so excellent. We will recommend him highly to anyone who is looking for a first class and five star tile contractor!

Bernd was meticulous in every aspect of his work. He was punctual, and was very neat. This project was done in an expert manner. I would highly recommend him. This project required many special cuts , all that was perfect. I highly recommend him. Outstanding job. The work he done with the tile on our island and backsplash was superb.. Bernd is very professional in doing this job . If I ever need more tiIeing I would hire him again.

I chose Bernd over a couple of others to do my tiling job as he was the most informed. After ordering the tile, he collected it and started work as soon as he arrived. He was very efficient, professional, courteous, always on time and easy to have in the house. He got on with the task in hand and wouldn't have taken a lunch breaks had I not brought in sandwiches. He also worked with us, accommodating my wife's nightshifts/daytime sleep work schedule so as not to disturb her. Bernd did an excellent job and always cleaned up after finishing for the day. Having used the garage space to cut the tile, he even hovered up in there upon completion leaving it cleaner than when he first arrived! I have no hesitation in recommending Bernd to anyone who wants a job well done.

I highly recommend Bernd without any hesitation! He is one of the most meticulous and conscientious contracting professionals I have ever worked with. Bernd asked good questions, listened carefully and offered good recommendations to further enhance the design concept I was aiming for. But I especially appreciate about Bernd is that when he is working on my project, he is not juggling 4 others at the same time. He started and completed the project within the timeframe given. The price was very reasonable and he is extremely tidy. I also felt totally comfortable leaving him working in my home alone when I left to run an errand. Really enjoyed working with him and would use him again in a second. My 76-year-old mother hired him to redo the shower in her bathroom. She had exactly the same experience I did. This guy is super great! Call him today!

I was informed that a neighbor was having a large project completed by Bernd (flooring/painting/tile/trim work) and they were extremely pleased. That was a good start. I needed a tub removed and replaced with walk-in shower, and over 1K square feet of carpet and tile removed, to be replaced with natural stone. Bernd provided a reasonable estimate, and was extremely good at translating the project to reality. It was obvious from the beginning that Bernd takes pride in his work, and thinks through processes which result in superb craftsmanship and, he is enjoyable to work with. I am not the easiest of clients to please, but I couldn't be more pleased with the final completed project by Bernd.
