"Our home only had one gas wall heater, no duct work. So we needed a completely new HVAC system: furnace, AC, and ductwork. In fall 2015 we'd gotten bids from a few other well-rated companies that were extremely high. All were Lennox dealers. A few months ago I looked into other manufacturers like Trane, and discovered Southland, which had superb reviews on multiple websites. From my first meeting with Matt Alba, I knew the reviews were accurate. Matt was extremely professional, answering all of my questions in a clear, straightforward way, without any gimmicks or high-pressure sales tactics. Their bid was significantly less than the ones we received in the fall. And they were able to install the whole system in one day! Matt was similarly professional in finalizing our plan, scheduling our install date, and helping us coordinate with an electrician to have our electrical panel replaced the same day as the heating and AC install.
The install day went extremely smoothly. Rudy, the site manager, was extremely professional, as was the rest of his crew. They worked very cleanly, covering our floors and furniture with tarps. They were very good at communicating their plans and their progress throughout the day. I found out at the end of the day they were down a couple workers, but were still able to get the job done on time with no hiccups. We've had the system installed for a few days and it works excellently!

"Joe was terrific. I called several companies and he had the best deal in town in that he did not try and sell me a bunch of stuff, but instead offered to service my HVAC and come back in 6 months for one low price. He also installed 2 new smart thermostats for me. He called me right back. Scheduled an appointment right away and showed up on time. The thermostats I had purchased (ecobee) were new to him and he honestly told me that but said he could handle it and he did. Plus he is a very nice family man to work with. "Not only did the technician find what was wrong, he told me that the unit was in really good shape (after he got it running) and that it was good to go for many more years.  That's honesty for ya!  I know that IWAI is a little far from the westside of LA but I called Craig anyway because of the great job he did for another one of my clients.   The tech got out there within 48 hours and made some minor repairs to a unit that I was told would possibly need replacing.  My clients were thrilled at the low cost of the inspection and that it only needed a couple of parts to get it running like new.  They ended up buying the condo and are extremely happy.  But wait, there's more!  
(Second Job) I met Craig in January of 2015 when he came out to look at a heating problem in one of my client's apartment complexes in Beverly Hills.  This was an old building (1947) that had 3 gravity furnaces underneath the property.  All 3 were original and failing.  I got three bids to have them removed and replaced with new units.  One bid was just over $18,000, the other just over $16,000. Mind you, this was to remove three gravity furnaces, replace them with new gas furnaces, including some duct work, as well as do a complete new installation in the attic of the top floor unit.  IWAI's price came in approx. $8,000 cheaper than the highest bid!!! $8,000!!!!  I was skeptical at first.  I mean who wouldn't be?  An $8,000 difference?  But I discussed it with my client and we went with IWAI Heating and Cooling.  Not only did Craig do what he said he was going to do, but he started on the day he promised, and he finished on time as well!!!  The tenants had only nice things to say about he and his crew and no one was inconvenienced but for a couple of hours when an air return had to be installed in one of the lower units.  The job couldn't have gone any better and the price was outrageously inexpensive for the work that was performed.  My client was thrilled and so were her tenants, especially now that they had heat.  Thanks to Craig and his crew for taking care of this job with the upmost professionalism.  If you need anything regarding HVAC, call IWAI heating and cooling.  Have them come out and give you a quote; you'll be glad you did!!!
