"Our project involved removing a load-bearing wall in the bedroom, new tile floors, bathroom cabinets and countertops. They also painted both rooms. The Cook team did an excellent job. Their subcontractors were professional and very particular. Communication was good and the job was done on a timely basis. Issues we had toward the end of the project were handled professionally. We would recommend Cook Remodeling without hesitation."

"Great company to work with! They are very thorough and detailed, yet able to be flexible. When our first idea did not look good in the drawings, they came up with an even better idea. All trades - framing, roofing, plumbing, painting, electrical - were impressive in their knowledge and quality."

This bathroom showcases a stunning blend of luxurious and modern design elements. The focal point is a sophisticated walk-in shower with bold, marble-patterned tiles on the walls, complemented by a pebble-style mosaic tile floor. The shower is enclosed with frameless glass, providing a seamless and open feel. Built-in niches offer functional storage, while a corner bench adds convenience. Metallic fixtures, including a rainfall showerhead and handheld attachment, complete the shower’s elegant

"Everybody looking for remodeling/repair services should at least meet with Regal Bath and Kitchens. We utilized Regal Bath and Kitchens for our remodeling project. Our project consisted of flooring throughout our home and a total kitchen remodel. After speaking with five other contractors, and only wanting to bang our heads against the wall afterward, we found Rich, Jim and the crew from Regal. My wife and I had high expectations for our project and to say that the team met those expectations is an understatement. Rich and Jim took the time to meet with us time and time again to triple check our choices for cabinets and overall flow of the design. The project completed smoothly, on time, and right inline with our quote. We will be using Regal Bath and Kitchens again in the future."

"I called him, he came out a few weeks later and gave me the quote, then I paid him. He said he would be back next week, and I think he got slammed and had a hard time getting back over there, so when he got there, if he was not an Angie's List guy, I would make him come back and do it. His price is good. Not too many people do crown molding. It was not straight, his cut was off, and you can see it to the eye. Even if the wall is not straight, he needs to caulk it so it is straight to the eye. He is really a nice guy. I bought a big deal, but I spent more than that, because I had a formal living room, and a dining room done, but it was extremely reasonable. "

"Gary the owner wsa very straightforward and professional. He listened caefully to what we wanted to do and executed flawlessly. With other contractors in the past we often needed to stay very engaged to insure the outcome was what we asked for. This was definitely not needed with Gary. He has an easy going style & communicates regularly on each step of the process. He also pays attention to details to achieve a high quality result. His employees & subcontractors were also very polite & considerate of our needs. They also kept the work areas very clean. I would not hesitate to use him again & recommend him highly.

Italianate architecture is a reinterpretation of Renaissance styles, combining elements of Italian farmhouses and villas with Victorian materials and construction. This home style emerged in the Victorian era, gaining popularity in the U.S. in the mid-to late-1800s. The style came about in response to what many then viewed as the too-rigid and stuffy Classical style designs.

Yes, designing builds to fit space constraints and meet functional needs.

The costs depend on the type of wood, labor, roofing material, permits, and whether additional storage or enclosed walls are included.

When planning a general remodeling project, it's important to define the scope of work, understand your goals, and set a clear, detailed budget. You should also assess the current structure and consult with professionals like architects or contractors. Create a realistic timeline for each phase, obtain any necessary permits, and build in contingency plans for potential delays or unforeseen issues. Regular communication with all involved parties is crucial to streamline the process.

Federal architecture is most common in urban areas throughout the New England states, including the older parts of New York, Pennsylvania (namely, Boston and Philadelphia), Maryland, Massachusetts, and Virginia. The style also dominated in parts of Georgia in the late 18th and early 19th centuries, so many historical homes in the area embody this home design. Salem, MA, has two historic districts that predominantly feature this architectural style: Chestnut Street District and the Salem Maritime National Historic Site.
