"I just had a new air conditioner installed today by Reddi services. The two technicians, Christian and Harry, were right on time and took less time than estimated to complete the job. Both men were friendly and performed the job with no problems and answered all my questions. I have been doing business with Reddi since they were established in Phoenix and they always do excellent work."

"Cook Remodeling converted my carport to a garage and they did a wonderful job. They made sure everything was perfect and I ended up with a beautiful addition to my home. I worked with Jeff Cook and from our initial meeting, to his estimate, and all the way through construction I felt that he was listening to what I wanted while also sharing his expertise. Everyone that worked at my house, both Cook Remodeling employees and their subcontractors, were professional and treated me with respect. They always were considerate of my needs and they cleaned up at the end of every day. I would definitely work with Cook Remodeling again."

"I needed a gas pipe enabled so it could be connected to a gas grill. Al sent over Anthony the same day. Anthony did a great job and very professional. Price was fair for the work done. I will definitely use again."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Blueprints are generally available for houses built after the early 1900s. Before then, detailed building schematics like blueprints were rarely used and even more rarely saved. If you have an older house and need blueprints, you can have a new set drawn up by an architect or draftsperson.

Universal design costs can be minimal when you add them during construction; however, adding universal design principles to existing homes can sometimes increase renovation costs. For example, a mid-grade bathroom remodel is estimated to cost around $30,000, while a standard universal design remodel can cost closer to $40,000. Adding accessible design components can include widening hallways ($500 to $2,000), curbless showers ($2,000 to $8,000), and widening doors ($400 to $800). Keep in mind that these increased costs can lead to higher resale values because universal homes may appeal to a wider variety of buyers.

Yes, modular homes offer a wide range of customization options for layout, finishes, and features.

While possible for small projects, professional designers ensure compliance with building codes and structural integrity.

Professionals such as architects, general contractors, electricians, HVAC specialists, and interior designers are crucial to effectively planning and executing significant renovations.
