"When our former circulation pump refused to function I called Reddi Services and requested Marco, as he had done plumbing work for us previously and we were always more than satisfied. Marco arrived here on time, fixed the problem, and was gone in less than one hour. He is a very good ambassador for Reddi Services, as he is prompt, has all the tools he needs, finishes promptly, and has a very nice personality! We will use him again."

"The clean up guy had to relight the gas water heater. He muscled the (5foot x 2 foot) aluminum cover to the outside water heater cabinet and bent it. He should have waited until I finished releasing the tabs, as I asked him to do. Other than that, the job went as expected. I feel that the men who did the job really went out of their way for us."

"My whole experience with EZ Flow Plumbing and Servicemagic was pretty amazing. I submitted a project for a solar water heater. 15 seconds after I submitted this project the phone started ringing. Several contractors were calling me at once. I received a phone call from Scott (EZ Flow Plumbing) first. Within 30 minutes he was at my house writing up a free estimate. I also talked to two other contractors regarding my project. Long story short, Scott was an expert in solar water heating. He installed my system shortly after providing his estimate. The workmanship was outstanding. He came in exactly what he quoted on price. Overall:Outstanding"

"We had (what we thought) was a sewer line issue in our backyard. After an initial estimate from another company of upwards of $15k to fix, we wanted to get 3 bids. We called Kevin, from Custom Plumbing of Arizona, and he provided unparalleled service. He not only scoped the entire line, showing us that the initial assessment was inaccurate, he went ahead and took a look at all the lines throughout the house to ensure between old pipes and a recent remodel, we could see and better understand the health of our pipes to be knowledgeable about potential future issues. All for a minor service fee. Turns out the leak was a pinhole leak from a small irrigation line. Custom Plumbing of Arizona will now be my first call for any plumbing issues. They told it to us straight and we walked away feeling not only better informed but did not have to spend tens of thousands of dollars unnecessarily."

"Daniel was awesome! He came out on a Sunday and installed new gas piping in our backyard so we could use our new natural gas grill. He was very quick and efficient. He didnâ t charge us a ridiculous amount that other companies were trying to charge us. I would definitely recommend hiring Daniel for any of your home service needs!!"

Gas Logs questions, answered by experts

DIY is not recommended due to safety concerns. Professional installation ensures proper connections and compliance with codes.

On average, a gas grill can last from five to 15 years. The exact lifespan depends on several factors, including the brand and quality of the grill, frequency of use, and whether the gas line is buried or above ground. With proper maintenance and care, such as regular deep cleanings to remove food, grease, and carbon deposits, a grill's life can be extended. Protecting the grill from the elements with a cover can also prevent rust and reduce the need for repairs. Most grill manufacturers also offer extended warranties, which vary in coverage and terms.

The difference between a built-in and regular grill is installation and design. A built-in grill is integrated into an outdoor kitchen or structure, often within a countertop or island. It is a permanent fixture. A regular grill is standalone, portable, or cart-mounted, allowing mobility and versatility in placement. Built-in grills are typically larger with more cooking space, while regular grills come in various sizes. Built-in grills are favored for creating a custom outdoor cooking area, while regular grills provide convenience and flexibility.

No. Placing a built-in grill against the house is discouraged due to safety concerns. Building codes and regulations often require a minimum distance (typically 10 feet or more) between a gas grill and any combustible structure, including a house. Placing a grill too close poses a fire hazard and risks damage to the siding or structure, potentially leading to carbon monoxide buildup. It's essential to consult local building codes, follow manufacturer guidelines, and prioritize safety by positioning the grill at a safe distance, ideally in a well-ventilated outdoor kitchen or designated grill area.

Local codes often mandate specific fittings, permits, and vent considerations for permitted function and safety, which are enforced by professionals.
