He spent over 30 minutes explaining all of the options available to me - where to route the new pipe, what to consider about replacing the water heater, etc. He took the time to answer my questions and get educated. I got other bids, but so glad we went with Gerald and Reddi. He and Brandon were able to knock out our job in less than a day, and there was a lot of work to be done! They worked hard and had great attitudes. We passed our city inspection with flying colors and are so grateful for the Reddi team that made this process a little less painful. "Diagnosis of intermittent failures is difficult. Serviceman came 3 times before a definitive diagnosis. He charged only for the first visit ($79 diagnostic fee, $28 for cleaning electrical contacts.) Recommended new wiring harness. Heater worked for a couple of days and failed again. I got it started but after a while it failed again. Serviceman returned and got it working. Trouble now appeared to be in flame sensor. He cleaned it. Fine for a day or so, but then failed. This time the serviceman found that manipulating the electrical plug on the gas valve unit caused burner to go on and off. But it did stay on. At this point my thermostat failed and I installed a new one, myself. Then the heater failed again. I checked out the wiring, myself and purchased and installed a new plug. Since that failed to fix the problem, the fault was in the gas valve unit (perhaps in its half of the plug) so I called the serviceman once more and determined that replacing the unit was the only feasible (though expensive) approach since the unit was not built to be disassembled. I called the company and it ordered a new unit. Order took several days to arrive. When it did they called me and we arranged for installation. A serviceman arrived on time and did the work very quickly, charging me the agreed price and the heater has functioned well since then. The company treated me very well and was responsive; I would use their services again. The relatively high price was due to the equipment design (Trane)."

"We were told by Fidelity National Home Warranty, who hired this provider that they would be at our home on Thursday, October 30, 2014 to perform the check on the gas leaks and make repairs where needed.  We got a call from their plumber, who informed us that they would be out to our residence that morning around 8:30 AM.  We waited all day, and finally decided to call their office, and where told that they had a plumbing emergency and would still come out to our residence.  Finally, the plumber did show up, but it was late at around 5:00 P.M. to again inform us that there was an emergency he had to attend to, and would come back on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at around 8:00 A.M.  This left us three days without gas, so far.
Saturday came, no-call and no-show, until we finally made a call to the emergency number to find out what was going on!  After we called to inquire about his whereabouts on Saturday, he finally showed up at around 2:00 P.M.  He did checked the furnaces, fireplace and appliances, and did find a leak under the counter top stove.  He fixed the leak.  He then did a pressure check at the meter, and found that it did not hold pressure.  He stated that there might be a leak behind the walls in the house.  We reminded him that the gas lamp at the end of our driveway was found to be leaking gas also, but according to Fidelity National Home Warranty, this would have to be handled independently by the homeowner.   We were told he would get back with us on Monday, November 3, 2014. As of today, we haven't heard from Veteran Plumbing and Drain.  We have had to track them down during this whole process!  They didn't call and let us know that they were not going to show up or would be late!  We have had to call every time to find out our status with them.  We still don't have our gas turned back on, because they never followed-up!  I did pay the service fee of $65.00 due them.   We have just been stood up!  We are now six days without gas!

On short notice the support staff make it possible to get the gas leak corrected in a matter of days so that our closing could proceed as scheduled. The individuals who performed the work were thorough and kept me informed as work progressed.
