We take great pride in our experience, expertise, quality and customer service that we provide to meet the needs of customers. It is our mission to provide excellent workmanship and complete customer satisfaction from start to completion of a project. In order to understand the needs and expectations of our customers, we take great care to work and communicate with every customer in a professional manner. Our reputation is based on service, safety and quality, regardless of how large or small the job.

"I spoke with Alvin at about 9 AM on a Wednesday and he had a team at my house the same day. I had three plumbing issues and Eric and Bryan were able to fix them in about two hours. They gave me an estimate before they began work and that is what I ultimately paid. The team was efficient and courteous, and I was pleased with both the work and the fact they were able to come in a short time. I thought the charge was reasonable and competitive. Based on this work I highly recommend Alvin’s Plumbing and Heating/AC."

We joined Angie's List in August of 2007 and have earned their Super Service Award every year since 2009 when they started that program. HARP Home Services, LLC is here to take care of all your heating and air conditioning needs. Whether you are looking for a free quote on a new central air conditioning system or are ready to install radiant floor heating or a new boiler for those chilly winter months, we're just a phone call (or e-mail) away. Residential & Commercial.

"This is the latest after HARP has been out to try and fix an AC system they installed. Mind you 4 different technicians have been to the property and none seem to have been informed on the repair or what it would take to fix it. I had another AC company come out an inspect the unit HAAP installed. This is what the report stated: ent to look at heat pump system in the apartment. Outside I found the condenser line set to be kinked, uninsulated, the wrong size and the system to already have dye added to the system so someone has tried to leak check the system. The problem with the dye is that it should never be used in a system because it contaminates the refrigerant and the oil in the unit, these actions have taken years off the operation of the unit. Inside starting at the thermostat to be wired incorrectly which may be a leading cause to why the system is running incorrectly. Also found that part of the ductwork was cut out of the way by the previous company and they did not put the duct work back together and in fact just covered the whole on the end of the duct. The line-set is wrong as it is suppose to be 3/8 3/4 line-set and it is only 1/4 1/2 line-set which leads to less life of the system and improper running of the system. In order to fix the system we would have to reclaim any refrigerant from the system and then un do the brazed connections, run line hide, drill out the building pull new thermostat wire and a new line-set between the two units, braze pull a vacuum, charge the system and then re wire the system. Also this would not insure proper running of the system because the system has already been damaged from the improper installation Task # EHR-100 RRL-160 RRL-170 LNS-110 LST-100 Description Rewire Low and/or High Voltage - Indoor Equipment : - Sometimes, an event occurs which may damage the wiring to a component in your system. My next step is to take them to Court to get my money back and find a reputable AC company that can perform the work and actually have technicians that know what they are doing. Professional for over 30 years in the same area! Fully equipped for service, diversified plumbing, heating, kitchen and bath remodeling.

"Joe and Larry were wonderful! We bought a new house that needed work, including a serious issue with how our water heater was installed (without a pressure release valve!). Joe came by and looked at it all and because the situation was dangerous he and Larry came the very next day. Their estimate was clear and the job came in at the estimate (with one small additional nal.repair they found taking a part the toilet.). They walked me through everything and made me feel at ease. These are our new go-to plumbers!!"

Yes, most states require plumbers to have a license, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality, added future expenses, and potential code violations. Having a licensed plumber tackle your projects only protects you as a homeowner.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

Before finding the right plumber for your job, there are a few questions that you should ask, including:

  • Are you licensed and insured?

  • Do you charge for estimates?

  • Is your fee a flat rate, or is it hourly?

  • Who will do the work? Are they all licensed and qualified plumbers?

  • What happens if any breaks or damages occur?

  • What is your response time in an emergency?

  • Is cleanup included in the quote?

  • Do your services come with a guarantee?

Discussing these questions with your plumbing contractor will help eliminate future issues and clarify expectations.

Before your plumber pays you a visit, it’s a good idea to clean up any boxes, garbage, or other obstacles that could be in their way. In addition, it’s best practice to clean the area that needs to be inspected or worked on, like a toilet, for example. Make sure to keep kids and pets out of the way once the plumber arrives.

Typically, plumbing repairs cost about $325 per job but can range from $175 to $4,000 or more. Simple fixes, such as a toilet repair, will be less expensive at around $150 to $400. However, if you have a pipe that has burst, you can expect to pay between $1,000 and $4,000 or more.

The project that needs to be completed, the size of your home, and the type of plumbing pipes you have can all impact the final cost. External factors such as supply chain issues and shortage of materials all play a part in how much this repair might be.

A faucet replacement vs. a failed waste line flooding a finished basement would be at opposite ends of a very broad spectrum. "A plumbing repair" could range from perhaps a $150 minimum service charge up to tens of thousands of dollars for a substantial repair and associated cleanup, finish work, etc.

The average cost to hire a plumber is around $100 an hour but can vary between $45 and $200 an hour depending on the plumber’s experience and the repair that you need. It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays, and emergency plumber rates average $150 per hour, in addition to a flat-rate trip fee of $100 to $350.
