I was trained as an apprentice in Germany after serving in the Army and continued in the trade after my return to the United States. I enjoy working with my customers from the beginning of the project to the end. I have years of experience and can help with any questions you have regarding various types of flooring. I accept cash or check payment upon completion. References and photos are available.

That evening, John had provided an estimate, which was extremely competitive with the other estimates we had obtained from other contractors. You’ll know when to replace it when it starts wearing down. You may have to replace it sooner if it's stained, whether due to water damage or pets.

If you also need to know how to fill the gap between the floor and the baseboard, it's best to use a flexible, paintable latex caulk. Clean the area thoroughly to remove dust and debris. Then, apply a smooth bead of caulk along the gap using a caulking gun, and use a caulk-smoothing tool to press and smooth it into place. If the gap is large, you may need to insert backer rod, such as a foam filler, before caulking. Once dry, paint the caulk to match the baseboard for a clean, seamless look.
