Empire Today - Madison

Had all rooms in my house done with carpet and laminate for kitchen. This was in 2022. They sub contract out to other companies to do all the work. In fact after you buy your product through salesman you will never hear from him again. I have a plank coming up in my kitchen along with peeling. Couple other little areas not noticeable from far away. Empire handed off to a contractor to have them call me. They told me $275 for service call. I even sent pictures. They would take the $275 off the project if I went ahead and had them do the work as long as product not defective. My point is, $275 to just come and take a look at area I?m talking about?? It?s not even Empire coming to look. Plus I bought everything from them. So apparently like someone said after the sale you are pretty much written off. They do not stand behind their product. Hard to rate on customer service. Who do you rate, Empire or the people doing the work! Ha!

It was one of the worst experiences, I had in a while.. they do not care about the customer once they get their money even if they did an awful job. They take advantage of people who do not know much about home improvement. they installed my carpet to thick but did not let me know while they were doing it but once it was done it was not their problem now I have hire someone else to fix it.. overall it is overpriced and the customer service is rude.. I would never do business with them again.

Professional, did most of the. furniture moving. The floor was done right, no issues.

An excellent product, which was installed in 1 day. However the communication between schedulers, installers, and customers could use a little work.

We had vinyl plank flooring put in and it looks amazing. All the people from the company were very nice. And yes I would get them again and we have been telling all our friends and family.

They operate out of Chicago, Illinois. I had just had knee replacement when the crew came. Installation was not done as requested so I called the salesperson who really wasn’t much help. This company has many different phone numbers and some were hard for me to understand. I finally dropped it all and am now living with a job done wrong. I paid what the salesperson and I agreed upon. So I paid more for less of a project. I have now misplaced all of their phone numbers.

We could not find a local flooring company that wanted to talk with us - either too busy for months or no reply to our message. Called Empire, talked with them the next day, flooring installed the next week at our convenience. Not sure how the price compares since we couldn't get a second quote locally. Installers were great to work with, worked fast, and did an excellent job.
