"It went very well. estimator was very thorough explaining everything about the system, its part and options, and the procedure. Installation was very quick and efficient. He did a great job keeping the existing room clean and free from debris. We are very pleased with the photovoltaic night light. Wasn't sure if we would like it but we do. The only part we are disappointed with is WHY DIDN'T WE DO THIS SOONER. We plan to add more lights in other areas in the future. "Kent Thompson is an amazing electrician! We will definitely be having him back in the future when we have more wiring jobs. Kent is really down to earth and what I would consider an "old school" electrician. He doesn't have a team of dozens of people or a big web site, but he does know his stuff about all things electrical. Unlike the big outfits, he doesn't charge a fixed price based on a pricing book - he writes out a detailed estimate for time and labor, and recommends changes that can be made to save time and money. He doesn't carry an iPad around or respond to text messages, but he shows up on time and gets the job done, and doesn't ask for a deposit to start the job. His prices are definitely more reasonable than the other two companies I talked to. I've always done electrical jobs myself, but we wanted to add a new circuit for a car charger, and I wasn't comfortable getting into the breaker box for that kind of thing, nor have I done any work that would have required permitting or inspection. I called Kent and he worked with me to find a time for the initial estimate - he came out after I got home from work one evening, which was great for my schedule. One of the main reasons I went with him is he spent a lot of time during the estimate discussing options with me and doing a thorough inspection of our current wiring, and just establishing a good rapport. It took about a week before I got the estimate, but he warned me of that ahead of time since he was working on a big job out of town the following week. Once I got the estimate and reviewed it, the work was scheduled very quickly - within a week. The morning of the job, he showed up very early, as requested - 7 AM. It took a bit longer than he originally expected, but he still honored his original estimate. The inspection went very smoothly and the work looks great! He did call me once or twice to clarify something, so great communication all around. I can't recommend Kent at Northwest Sound Electric highly enough - he's your guy if you want high-quality electrical work done at reasonable prices. He's also very good at explaining things, whether you're familiar with electrical work or not - I really enjoyed talking with him and hearing how he was going to do the work."

"Excellent! The electrician, Brian, showed up early and reviewed the job with me to ensure we were on the same page before starting the work. Once he got to work, he remained focused and was very gracious and accommodating to answer any questions I had about the job. This was a fairly complex job, at least from my perspective, and he was done in under 6 hours - including the trip to the electrical supply warehouse. Brian is an excellent representative of Trinity Electric, and I would gladly hire them again for any work I need done."

"Procraft deserves its high rating. They "walk the walk". They installed storm windows on all our windows 11 years ago and did a great job. Now, 11 years later, and a draft free house, Steve came to our house and figured out how to make an adaptation we wanted. We had decided to remove the screens and needed the upper windows stabilized so they would not fall down with the screen out. Steve volunteered to come to the house to look the situation over, he was prompt, helpful, clever and had it all done in less than 2 hours (14 windows were involved). They have a great product and customer service . There was no charge ("We believe in taking care of our customers", he said.) We would use them again."

"Worst Experience I've ever had with a contractor. I'm a year after they finished and plugs are falling out of the wall when I unplug things. My basement flooded as a result of them not rewiring the plug for the sump pump to the right spot, then they plugged into the spot they WERE SUPPOSED to fix the outlet (so it didn't have a GFCI reset button on the outlet) then they incorrectly marked the new panel for how to get power back on to it. There's two outlets that haven't worked since they did their job (but they;re in a part of the house they didn't work on, so they claim they're not responsible). They failed to rewire our porch light and blamed our builders for putting a nail through a wire, that was a blatant lie. The simplest things like a smurf tube they installed they failed to install an insert with a ******* hole in it so that I could pull a wire through it. They took zero responsibility for their work, even though one of their electricians told me point blank he was going to "work faster" so he could take a vacation early. Apparently his "work faster" just meant doing a **** job. Thanks for nothing NWE&S. Do not work with them unless you want to be left holding the bag to redo most of it."
