"I needed only scope and locate my 4" sewer pipe from an exterior cleanout to the house. Rescue Rooter gave me a discount for the work. John the plumber came out. He has 26 years of experience and was very knowledgeable and skilled at using the camera. I've been doing remodeling for 30 years including plumbing installation (drain pipes, copper water pipe repair and installation). In addition to using the electronic locator, he also went old school in using witching sticks to confirm the location of the pipes."

"Matthew of Trident Plumbing and Drain Cleaning came to camera our entire downspout underground drainage system. He was able to provide service the same day we called, bringing along a state-of-the-art camera system and underground pipe locator. Matthew spent a lot of time with us, fully diagnosed our system, and suggested sensible next-steps with possible remediations for our drainage issues. He has a smart, can-do, and thorough approach combined with a customer friendly attitude. Pricing was reasonable. Kudos and a strong recommendation for Trident Plumbing and Drain Cleaning!"

"We hired them to install a 40 foot french drain. Eric was very knowledgeable and professional, not to mention a very nice person and good listener. He was punctual and he and his crew were extemely hard workers. The job functions as promised, looks great and they were very conscientious about how they left the work area neat and clean. I wish I could hire them for other projects."

"The positives: Trevor arrived at the earliest the time we were told to expect him. He was respectful and professional, and was able to fix a challenging drain problem. He also made a few suggestions to minimize drain problems in the future. Two negatives: 1.. The tech had to wait for equipment not in his truck, to be brought by a colleague. 2.. Although it was snowy and slushy on this visit, Trevor made every effort not to track dirt inside. BUT most trades companies have their employees don shoe covers when the enter the premises."

"I went to Mad Pipers for a second opinion after getting a vague and uninformed assessment of my drain issues from a different company. Ragen and Zach not only took the time to figure out the extent of the problem, but they made sure I understood and knew what my options were, without pressuring me to hire them. I respected both their attention to detail and integrity so decided to hire them for the job. Rather than replace the entire drain system as recommended by another company, they discovered the problem areas where roots were growing into the pipes and were able to replace just the necessary sections effectively and efficiently. This included excavating and trenching the line from a tiny crawl space, redirecting the line to a much more practical location outside the house, adding gravel around the new pipe, reconnecting the line to the unaffected section, and complete and tidy cleanup of my yard, all in two days. I have complete faith in these guys and would definitely hire them again for any future plumbing needs."

"French drain installation along a retaining wall (75 yards). Thomas who handled the sales end of things was friendly and responsive. The crew showed up on time. They were hard working and receptive of customer feedback. They first removed the ivy that was obstructing the work area and then completed the trench on day 1 which uncovered some of the unwelcome water sources. A legacy footing drain was plumbed directly into the main french drain pipe. Perpherated pipe was dropped in on Day 2 followed by river rock, catch basins, and 3 ft dry well installation. Cleanup was done thoroughly. I would hire them again in a heartbeat."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Bi-fold doors need clearance to fold into the wall, so they eat up a few feet of space. They are hard to move in snow or high wind. Many homeowners now choose sliding or sectional-style doors for smoother daily use.

Professionals ensure energy efficiency, enhanced security, and compliance with ADA and fire safety regulations.

Storm handles using universal hole spacings are interchangeable regardless of brand and model. However, some older models may require specific hardware. In these cases, we recommend replacing your storm door altogether instead of spending hours looking for a replacement part online. Newer models also tend to be more durable and efficient, so a new storm door could be a worthy investment.

The average cost to install a door is around $1,100, but you could pay anywhere from $150 for a hollow-core interior door installation up to $2,000 or a high-end exterior door installation. There are a few cost factors to consider to get an accurate price, including whether your wall opening exists, the type of door, the quality and security of the door, whether you need to replace the frame, and the door size. You can expect to pay $150 to $700 for a standard 36-by-80-inch door and between $400 and $1,600 for an 80-by-48-inch door.

While storm doors should be tightly fitted, an airtight seal can actually trap moisture in the space. This can lead to condensation and icing on your door. Ideally, you will have a tight seal that still allows for proper air circulation and ventilation.
