"I had an issue with my drain backing up. Received excellent service from drain pro. The consultant was available to chat with me at 8pm and guided me correctly. He came to inspect the issue in the morning and found that the issue was much easier to resolve with a pump and ended up not charging at all."

"Matthew was very prompt in returning my call. He listened to what I needed, answered my questions, and we scheduled the work. Not only did Matthew successfully unclog my sink (needed power cabling for drain blockage) and reset my toilet (I opted to replace my 20-year-old toilet and valve turn stop to protect my new wood floors), but I learned quite a lot about how to maintain my drains and how to shut off main water in case of emergency. I felt very comfortable with Matthew and scheduled him to return in July to reconfigure my kitchen sink plumbing after new countertops are installed."

"Prescott came to my house early Sunday morning after having contacted his company the night before. The drains on one side of my house were not working. He first checked the septic tank and then walked me through the steps to clear the drain lines on that side of the house. I had previously located the cleanout access so he was quickly able to examine it. We tested the system and were able to see the blocked drain line, He ran his machine for about 10 minutes start to finish and the blockage was gone. We then then tested, and everything seems to work. It was completely professional from start to finish. They charged me $99 for the service. Plus tax.. They recommended I pump the septic system and I will do so early this upcoming week. After that, they will send a camera crew to run a camera down the lines. I will absolutely call them first if I ever have an issue."

"Luke is an excellent plumber. He tells you exactly what you need to know. Pricing is fair; not expensive. After he fixed the issues he was hired for, he asked if there was anything else needing fixing. We really appreciated his diligence to solve all our pluming issues. We highly recommend Luke!"

"Awesome service. They were able to come on short notice, found the clog in the drain leading to the sewer, cleaned it out, and tested to ensure water was flowing freely. Jason did a fabulous job at a very reasonable price. Will definitely hire again should the need arise."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

Outswing doors are more popular for exterior doors as they offer more room for moving items in and out of a home. And because the hinges are on the outside of the door, they’re more secure against potential break-ins. But, outswing doors are more susceptible to the elements and are more expensive. Comparing inswing vs. outswing doors depends on your budget, needs, and overall preference.

Each has its use, depending on the scenario. Security doors are primarily intended to keep people out of the home, while storm doors are used to protect the home from extreme weather. Both tend to be made from heavy-duty metal and may include glass panels to allow light to enter the home. Storm doors can feature mesh screens, just like screen doors, to allow for increased ventilation and to keep out pests. Security doors rarely, if ever, have mesh screens.

Yes, it is possible to have both a storm and security door. In fact, this is the best way to go for enhanced protection against intruders and the elements. The storm door will provide weather resistance and added energy efficiency, while the security door will offer maximum protection against break-ins.

A storm door should be the same size as the front door. Both doors will fit into the same opening on the exterior of the home, so you can expect the storm door to be the same size as the front door. Most doors will be about 32 or 36 inches wide and 75 or 81 inches tall, although you can customize your door sizes.

The time to install a storm door varies based on who is doing the work and the complexity of the job. Professional installation typically takes a few hours, often between 1 to 2 hours, ensuring a perfect fit. For a DIY project with a standard, pre-hung storm door, you can expect it to take about 3 to 5 hours. However, if the door opening needs to be expanded or significant frame adjustments are required, the installation could take more than a day, in which case hiring a professional is recommended.
