"The guys from Estate Fence did a wonderful job! Our yard was partially fenced but the existing fence was old and falling down. We wanted the yard to be fully fenced for our small dogs. The guys were professional throughout the entire process. They tore down and rebuilt the fence and added a gate all in two days! They have a good eye for detail and high standards of workmanship. I would definitely hire them again."

"Sam replaced a large section of a 27 year old fence, two gates, and a rotting fence post. He also hauled away the old fencing. Sam completed the work very quickly and cleaned up everything before he left. I am very pleased with the new fence and gates! He delivered everything on time and just as he promised. "OMG I love my new fence, they came when they said they would. They did the work, cleaned up all the mess and I am so excited to allow my large breed dog outside now. Not to worry if the kids next door will tease or bother me or my dog again. 6 feet high and privacy slates is the way to go, I am bragging to everyone I know, LOVE LOVE LOVE my fence and the price was prefect. While power washing isn't a requirement before you stain a fence, it can make the job much easier and faster while reducing manual labor requirements. The stain will not work if the wood is full of dirt and dust, so power washing, sometimes called pressure washing, is a fast and effective way to prepare the wood for staining. Remember that you need to stain or repaint relatively soon after the wood has dried so that there isn’t time for dust and dirt to build up again. 

For a chain link fence, the ideal distance between fence posts is 6 to 10 feet apart. Measure carefully to ensure even spacing, and resist the temptation to extend the distance more than 10 feet. Doing so could impact the stability of your fence.

Ideally, when you replace a fence post, you should also replace the concrete footing. The concrete bonds to your new post, creating a secure base. If you install a new post into old concrete, it won’t be as sturdy.

That said, it is possible. Sometimes the post will lift right out of the concrete. If not, you can use a high-lift car jack to try and lift the pole out of the footing. Put the new post into the same hole and backfill it with fast-setting concrete. Keep in mind, this won’t work well for metal posts.
