"Had windows and doors installed by this company. The window installation went great. The bad news is that they do not seem competent at installing door hardware. My door has not latched properly since they made some unwanted modifications to the hardware (it worked perfectly before they started modifying it).have had them out three separate times to fix the issue they caused with the door latch and lock. Every “fix” they do seems to make the problem worse. I would steer clear of this company for door installations."

I called Ashburn Roofing and they responded that morning and quickly repaired the damage. Jose did a fantastic job. He assessed the damage, gave me a fair price and quickly got to work. The roof repair was completed in a minimum amount of time. He also responded quickly again when some shingles came loose again in the next storm. "It was time to replace my roof and I requested several estimates from roofing companies. I selected Marshall Roofing Siding and Windows. It was not the cheapest estimate but the estimate assessment by Mr. Chris Butler, of Marshall Roofing, was the most thorough. Mr. Butler inspected the roof, went into the attic (and found a bathroom vent venting into the attic instead of outside), went into my screened in porch to determine what kind of nails to use so that they would not come through the tongue and groove ceiling and he noticed some old satellite dishes that could be removed. Marshall roofing updated the proposal several times with all of my concerns and additions. This is great customer service! When it came to choosing a shingle color, we struggled to find the right color. Mr. Butler kindly offered to bring out additional shingle samples to us on a Friday afternoon. Again, above and beyond customer service. Mr. Butler also worked with us to find and install an attic fan specifically designed to be quiet when running. The job started promptly on time and was finished in two days. Mr. Butler came out as the job was wrapping up and when the crew finished packing up, on his own, he did a second magnetic sweep around my house to find any nails that may have been missed during the magnetic sweep performed by the crew. Again, great customer service! We are very happy with the workmanship and customer service that we received from Marshall Roofing and would highly recommend their services!!"

Will you remove my old or damaged roof?
Will the roof you install be warrantied against black streaks?
Will the roof you install last as long as the warranty? Or will it only last about half as long?

Does your company have multiple locations? This will let you know if they are truly local or a large company briefly working your area after a storm.
Do you offer a workmanship warranty? Confirm in writing the time length and details of such warranty.
Do you have quality reviews? All roofing contractors have references of their successful jobs. Good contractors won't have many negative reviews.
How will you protect our windows, siding and landscaping?
Will you remove my old or damaged roof?
Some disqualifying signs to look for are:
-Did the contractor cold call or knock on your door?
-Does the contractor look or talk like a salesman?
-Does the contractor have profiles on many different websites? Poor contractors will avoid an online presence to avoid bad reviews.
