"Tomas M from JW did a great job. Needed replacement for part of the frame of front door. He did a fantastic job in matching the replacement panel to the rest of door. He also painted the entire frame and replaced some additional wood that we damaged at top of frame and caulked it all. Also had a basement door frame sanded and repainted. "Andreas owns the company and responded to my request. I have a raised paver walk way that runs on one side of my house from the front to the back. At the back it drops off on to a paver patio. The whole thing was sinking, collapsing and falling apart. Metropolitan Pant and Home Improvement, (Andreas) responded right away with a phone call and was the first to respond. He came over that day and gave me a quote on the spot. He was very nice and personable and very easy to work with. I received quotes from several other companies and his quote was fair and also the lowest. They began the work the next day, and came back every day until it was complete, which was only several days. Andreas was also on site to direct his crew to make sure they understood what the work was. The work was done perfectly. All the pavers on the side yard walkway down to the back patio were power washed along with the patio pavers. About 20% of the pavers had to be remove and crushed stone added underneath to level the walkway and parts of the patio. Then the pavers were placed back, leveled and packed tightly together. Finally, they used polymeric sand to fill and seal the seams between the pavers and then applied sealer on all the pavers on the walkway and the whole patio. The work was perfect and completed very quickly. He also did more than was asked and quoted, which was power washing ALL of my hardscape including two areas of hardscape in the front yard where flowers and shrubs were planted, along with my whole driveway and walkway up to my front door including the front stoop, without being asked or adjusting the quote. I liked Andreas and his work so much that I have just hired him and his crew to redo our kitchen including replacing the floor, resurfacing and painting the cabinets and install a marble tile backsplash. And this job was VERY reasonably priced, too. I strongly recommend Andreas and Metropolitan Paint and Home Improvement. They can do many types of projects, and they can be trusted to do a great job and complete the project quickly for a very reasonable price."
