We are creative problem solvers. At Green Lady, providing drainage and soil erosion solutions which cause damage to foundations, landscapes, and personal safety is our specialty. A few of our areas of expertise are hardscape design & installation, interior and exterior masonry, patio and walkway installation, all retaining walls, exterior lighting systems, terracing & stonewalls, fireplaces, fire-pits, chimneys, fence installation, pool-concrete and paver installation /repair, asphalt, and concrete driveway installation. Green Lady is licensed and insured professionals who understand Northern Virginia's soil and weather. I cannot say enough good things about Green Lady Masonry! Deborah was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is extremely kind, thoughtful and super responsive. She, Gerardo, and the crew all worked so hard! I had contacted multiple businesses over the years for help with our sloped yard and drainage issues and nobody seemed up to the task. Green Lady Masonry came in, and immediately gave me a great solution and at a great price! They came when they said they would and worked from early in the morning until late in the evening. Gerardo was so nice and every crew member was extremely kind to me and my family! They did such a fantastic job! It has changed the way my kids will play. Before we were not using our yard at all and now I am so excited for my kids to play! The walls are beautiful! Many neighbors watched this happen because we are right on the walking path and I got many comments about how nice of a job they were doing! I highly recommend Green Lady Masonry! Thank you!

When I first called Green Lady Masonry for my drainage project, I was blown away by Deborah’s professionalism and customer service. We spent a bit of time chatting and she made sure to understand what we were trying to accomplish to make sure her company would be a good fit before we even scheduled an estimate. When Gerardo showed up for the estimate, he was incredibly thorough with explaining to us what he thought would solve our water issues while also listening to our concerns and taking them into account for his plans. On the day construction began, the crew was early and got to work right away after Gerardo laid out the project. The crew was quick and efficient and knocked it out a few days faster than expected. Our yard looks fantastic and we can’t wait for the first rain storm to see how much the dry creek bed and French drains work to help solve our drainage issues. If you have any drainage issues, you’d be doing yourself a disservice by not calling Green Lady. Every single interaction I had with them was fantastic, the price was incredibly reasonable, and the work looks amazing afterwards!

Everything went fantastic, and the crew was great! I was so glad to have waterproofing done on the outside so that no more water would be coming in -- and to have the driveway/sidewalk work done at the same time. Very few companies could do both jobs, and many companies wanted me to do an interior sump pump instead. I've had plenty of neighbors stop by to tell me how great it looks!

This spring, we were returning clients of Green Lady Masonry and Drainage Solutions. This is our third set of projects to be completed by Deborah, Gerardo, and the Crew. I cannot say enough on how professional the entire crew works. They are always polite, and they have always cleaned up the site every day without fail. First, we completed a front-yard makeover which included installation of a terraced mortared, Fieldstone retaining wall for our sloped garden and underground PVC pipe downspout installation. Before this, the landscape was overgrown, and years of poor drainage contributing to foundation and soil erosion. As in all subsequent projects, the professional planning and personal attention provided by Deborah and Gerardo allowed for easy execution of a gorgeous, finished product. The second project involved waterproofing a persistent leak in our foundation. Gerardo immediately knew the solution and the issue was handled efficiently with excellent outcome. Our latest work included a much-needed French Drain and extended PVC Pipe to deal with our always sloped, soggy side yard. Gerardo is ingenious in his thinking as he approaches problem-solving for water problems. He is also extraordinary in relation to designing retaining walls and other hardscapes. He created a lovely half-moon, mortared Fieldstone retaining wall in our backyard on a very steep slope that allows us to garden now.

Deborah, Gerardo and their crew did a terrific job! The walkways are just beautifu,l and the crew was professional and really know their craft. I was also very impressed that at the end of each workday, the crew cleaned up the worksite and stored their tools and equipment very neatly, including covering everything with plastic when it was supposed to rain. I have already recommended Green Lady to several friends.

The work they did on fixing our carport, driveway and drainage issues is remarkable and the patio they designed and made is beautiful. Deborah and Gerardo are an amazing team! The design process and construction could not have gone more smoothly. We had our driveway enlarged and walkways installed. We previously had a slate path that no longer met our needs. The team recycled all the stone to make a beautiful retaining wall for the driveway, a walking path to the water faucet and a small patio in front of the shed! We never expected all this to be completed beyond our defined scope of work. The company’s name “Green Lady” reflects their commitment to recycling material to make the landscape beautiful. In addition, the work was completed quickly due to the dedication of their crew. I never saw anyone standing around “looking on” while others worked. The entire team had jobs to do and they stayed focused on their tasks. Pricing was comparable to the other two estimates I received at the start of the project. Deborah and Gerardo’s positivity and detailed explanation finalized my decision to work with them. The recycling of existing materials and quality of the work was exceptional. The value added from the recycling of our existing walkway made my decision to select Green Lady the best price! I will use them again for future projects

Amazing as always. I am a loyal customer of Deborah and her team. In 2018, they installed beautiful stone veneer on my house and added a gorgeous raised bed that greatly enhanced the beauty and value if my home. Deborah, Gerardo and team were fantastic to work with from start to finish! The design process was easy, everyone was on time -- every time -- and they got the job done early. I can't say enough great things about Green Lady -- Our experience was terrific from start to finish - initial contact, great communication, planning and execution on the project. Deborah, Gerardo and the team demo'd our old driveway, installed a new driveway with great drainage and slope (including a new drainage pipe), and constructed a new trash/recycling enclosure for us at the back of the driveway. The workmanship is amazing. Deborah and Gerardo are so knowledgeable, and patient in walking through what they recommend and why. We never felt that they were pushing or overselling as so many people do in this business; they were clear about what they thought we could do in light of what we wanted on the work, and how to adjust as necessary - and also always clear on pricing and delivery times. Their work is of the highest quality and caliber. We are thrilled with the new driveway and recycling/trash enclosure, and would absolutely work with Green Lady again. Outstanding experience working with Deborah and Gerado and their crew through initial consult, planning/layout, and implementation. Green Lady Masonry takes a very collaborative approach with homeowners, listening carefully to address needs and customize approach. Work was completed in a timely manner- and completed within the budget and estimated timeframe that was initially estimated for the scope of the project. Crew members were EXTREMELY hard working and courteous. Supervisors were on site regularly to check progress and make adjustments to insure drainage was accurately addressed during excavation, grading, and building. Our lot is tricky, with limited access, so no big equipment was used; all work was done by hand. Stonework is truly artisanal. Project has increased equity in our home above and beyond the cost of the project, turning formerly unusable "dead" space into a truly exceptional outdoor oasis.

GreenLady was great from start to finish. The planning stages offered us multiple options and recommendations were made to solve our drainage issues. Extensive work included, downspouts, retaining walls, landscaping stone, French drains and concrete patio. The work was completed as scheduled, on time. The results were even better than anticipated. Very pleased with Deborah, Gerardo, & team. Removed asphalt drive and replaced with concrete driveway edged with brick. Poured concrete garden stairs and pad for shed. Also installed a French drain around shed to deal with run off. Workers were polite and cleaned up after themselves. We had a good experience.

I now have one! Prior to Deborah, Gerardo and their incredible crew, I had a dirt and mud plot. It is an interior town home that had great options, yet none of them had ever been executed. When I talked to Deborah about my vision....and she brought Gerardo over to help with some of the technical stuff....it was a dream come true. And their crew!!! Even when I threw them for a loop with a change for a boulder stairs to the exterior path and they had to literally CARRY THEM DOWN A HILL AND OVER THE PATH TO THE HOUSE, they didn't blink. Deborah and Gerardo were amazing. Deborah is very knowledgeable about erosion prevention, she recommends low-maintenance/native plantings that still gave our yard a wow factor. They started by adding 10 new trees/plants on our property line to define the space. Then Gerardo and his team, master masons, build beautiful walls and a walkway that will last the life of the house. He also repaired the front brick steps of our landing to look like new. They sourced specific materials we requested including visiting several stone yards to get the colors of flag stone and field stone that we wanted. Deborah also has come back to consult on additional plantings on several occasions, and has even given us several flats of ground cover for the next part of our project.
