We moved into our house about 3 years ago and the first thing we wanted to was get a heat pump. They were very friendly. When we were about to have the heat pump installed our sewer pipes backed up we ended up having to replace our sewer pipes and the heat pump at the same time. right after we bought the house. Both companies worked with us on some payment options without financing.

about a year later we wanted to get our heat pump removed from our basement. So we asked them to come out again to see how much it would cost to have it removed. It was the same guy who came out the first time. He told us that to remove it he would have to charge us about $3800. He told us not to have them do it because he didn't want to charge us that much. He recommended an alternative for us which worked out and save us a lot of money. I will always use New River Heating and Air for my projects because I know that they will do what's best for me not just their bottom line.

I have technical background and I bombarded Brendan with lot of questions on scientific and mathematical and technical functions of heat pump, but Brendan immediately came up with satisfactory technical and scientific responses which cleared doubts and gave me optimism. Brendan and his team made feasibility study at the house and took measurements to ascertain the size of the heat pump and necessary modifications to the existing system in order to make new heat pump and system work efficiently with low costs of electricity and maintenance and with very low noise!!! The installation done by Brendan and his team appeared to be supported with stability. Trial run of new system initially made the team of Freedom Heating & Air to do fine tuning and now the system is working comfortably with very low noise, etc ."

He came to my house but after two weeks no work has been scheduled. I am disabled and cannot change the filter without a great deal of discomfort, so I really need the work done. "I hired this company to replace a furnace and air conditioner in July. It took several weeks and phone calls to repair a problem with the installation. It then took a couple of weeks for them to return to set the unit up for winter. They continually used "were so darn busy as an excuse. They also agreed to install a garbage disposal even though they stated they usually did not do residential plumbing. They never found the time. So imagine my surprise when I saw they were advertising a residential plumbing special Angie's List. I have made a number of requests for the warranties for my units, to no avail. They may give you a good price, but after that, good luck."

"The project was a full encapsulation by Triangle Reconstruction (TR) of a 600 sqft crawl space. I purchased an Angies List deal from TR after consulting many of the reviews (good and bad) that others had written on AL. I tend to view with a healthy dose of skepticism interactions with businesses that have gotten my attention with 'deals', but I was hopeful, given the previous reviews. So I was eager to determine, starting with the first visit from their inspector (Nate), as to whether a) the deal was going to pan out as advertised and b) how much up-sell pressure I was going to have to endure. Nate did confirm the details of what I had already purchased and though he gave me a few additional options to consider, I never felt pressured to purchase any of them. I also appreciated Nate's honesty with several of my probing questions, including one "I don't know" answer, but with a promise to investigate and find out (which he did). My direct interaction with the owner (Rob) was limited (mostly on the front end of the project), but I found him to be very responsive to my calls and emails. The majority of my interaction was with Brian, the Production Manager, who I would say epitomizes what "Customer Service" is supposed to be like (more on that later). Day 1 was mainly spent removing the old insulation and cleaning the subfloor and joists, including a bit of mold remediation. I paid extra for the mold remediation but felt it was worth it given the results, as well as my desire to avoid possible future Buyer Inspector concerns whenever we decide to sell. Day 2 involved the actual encapsulation and proceeded smoothly and quickly (they were done in a 1/2 day) and did a very thorough job. Back to my Customer Experience ... I want to highlight that during the entire process, Brian kept me well informed (with phone calls and texts) about what would be done (and when) and reiterated at least 3 or 4 times that TR did not expect me to pay a single penny until I was completely satisfied with the job. Others may say that, but I found it to be true, since the new air duct installation (by their HVAC subcon) delayed the final inspection by a week and I did not hear a peep from TR about paying up. In other words, they did not even mention the bill until after the final inspection was done and I was satisfied. Also, I'm fairly hands-on with renovation projects at my house but was never made to feel (by Brian) any annoyance with my being too 'particular' about the details of the project. Brian welcomed me to conduct the final Quality Check with him and he made corrections to the few items on my list, right as we did the final walk- (actually 'crawl')-through. Sorry, couldn't resist. All in all, this was one of the more pleasant interactions I have had with companies providing a service at my house and I would not hesitate to call TR again or recommend them to family, friends and neighbors."

"I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. They were nice people, but I saw after they did the job that there was a tear in my dryer vent. As far as I can recall they were prompt."

"The sales person, Suzy, described their process, (which turned out to be mostly accurate), and suggested materials, which I chose (which turned out to mostly the ones available). The linoleum I chose did not look much like the picture she showed from the Web, but it's OK. There was a bit more time than promised between her visit and the call from the office, but not much. My construction manager was Jason, and he was here every day and made sure that all worked well. Ryan was my installer. Everything is wonderful; the cabinets are great and the installed tile is really striking. Ryan cleaned up every day, came promptly, and did excellent work. The only negative things are that the cabinets (by Wolf) have "moveable" shelves that are so hard to move that each one takes about 10 minutes of sweat-inducing strain to unfasten. They want their shelves to be sturdy, and they could accomplish that with the same system, but make the shelves about 1/8 of an inch shorter. Also some quarter round still needs to be put in the closet. One of the electrical outlets took some adjusting because it was set too deep. Remodel USA will do the kitchen etc, but does not paint, so we spent a fair amount of time cleaning, priming, and repainting the walls and some woodwork. I worked on some other parts that were difficult (electrical and heating), but that is because it's an old house."
