"After my water bills began increasing to ridiculous levels, I had my plumbing inspected, and got the bad news - my main water line was leaking, and would have to be dug up and replaced. SInce I had an old water heater, I decided to price getting it replaced at the same time.
I got two estimates, and Mahon came in significantly cheaper. I decided to go with them. Because of a cancellation in their schedule, they were able to come the next day.
All the work was completed in one day. They had to dig a trench in my front lawn, under my sidewalk, and replace the main water line. They also hauled away my old water heater and put in a new one. Because of the position of the new water line, they had to cut a hole in my basement wall to install the new main water valve.
I was expecting to have to patch up the hole in my basement wall myself, as well as refill any dirt still dug up in my lawn. But the Mahon personnel completely filled the trench back in, smoothed over the lawn, and reseeded it and put down a layer of straw.
Then Mr. Mahon himself came the next night to finish patching and painting over the drywall in my basement.
When a couple of weeks later, rains caused a couple of large sinkholes to appear in my lawn, I called Mahon, and they sent a couple of men with a truckload of dirt to fill them in.
Overall, my experience with Mahon was excellent. No one wants to incur this kind of expense, but they did the work for a reasonable price, quickly, and went above and beyond in doing cleanup and follow-up. Mr. Mahon appears to genuinely care about customer satisfaction and earning your business."
