"Excellent! Crew arrived, started working stopped for lunch and left late, but roof on house and carport were 95% done. Came back next day trimmed up a couple things and cleaned up really well. We are very happy with the roof and the gutters will complete the job. Well done!"

"Bryan is amazing. Always available, honest, clear and very easy to work with. Thorough inspection at the beginning helped a great deal. Bryan worked with us through several insurance delays, weather delays, HOA delays etc. Excellent experience. Got an architectural roof at a great price"

"Great work. Was able to get me scheduled within 48hrs of him coming by to inspect the roof. Work was done to our satisfaction. Repair was needed in several places on the roof and as new homeowners we just wanted repair that would be done right without any price gauging. Very reasonable in pricing. Will contact them again when we decide to replace the entire roof."

Their communication was excellent—they kept us informed every step of the way and were always available to answer questions. The quality of their workmanship was exceptional, and our new roof looks amazing. The crew was courteous, hardworking, and left the property clean when the job was completed. Replacing older chimneys or fireplaces, like wood-burning stoves, with something more eco-friendly can actually increase the value of your home. Some homeowners opt to remove chimneys as they pursue LEED certification, which may also increase the value of your home. But in general, many potential buyers actually look for operational fireplaces in homes, so removing a chimney and fireplace could decrease your home’s value by up to $5,000.

A gambrel roof and a mansard roof are similar in that they are both hipped roofs, meaning they have double slopes—one steep and one more gradual above the steep slope. The difference is that a gambrel roof has a double slope on only two sides of the structure, whereas a mansard roof has a double slope on all four sides.

Good news—asphalt shingles, including architectural shingles, are easily recycled. Talk to your roofing contractor to find out if recycling options are available in your area.

If recycling isn't available, your roofing contractor may recommend renting a dumpster, if your project is on the large side, or collecting the shingles in contractor bags to throw them away. Another option may be to donate new or gently used shingles to a local nonprofit.

Yes, installing a new metal or tin roof can increase your home's value. A metal roof's longevity and durability are major selling points for prospective buyers, as it means they likely won't have to worry about a roof replacement. These roofs can last 40 to 80 years, which is significantly longer than traditional asphalt roofs.

In terms of return on investment (ROI), homeowners may see an increase in home value of around $7,000 to $8,000, which can represent 60% to 70% of the installation cost. Another way to measure ROI is per square foot, which can range from $3.00 to $8.40, with higher returns in areas where a durable roof is particularly beneficial.

Removing snow from your roof can help prevent ice dams, but the best thing to do is address insulation issues in your attic. If you do decide to remove the snow manually, you should always use a roof rake rather than a shovel. You shouldn’t climb your snowy roof in any circumstance, and roof rake allows you to remove the snow from the ground or a ladder. For the best results, remove snow as soon as possible after it falls.
