"Had three walls in Master bedroom closet done as well as kitchen pantry. I was very happy with work and value. I was able to add shelving and customize."
"JC Closets was quick to respond on my initial contact. Javier came by to look at my closets, took measurements and asked for clarity on what I wanted. He sent drawings and an estimate by email within a couple of days. His quote was competitive and his reviews were favorable. My husband and I are extremely satisified with the work which was completed on the agreed upon date. The project was handled efficiently and professionally. "
"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."
"They do an excellent job. They take care of my furniture and wrap everything up. They also take things apart and put them back together for me. They come on time and follow up with me. I asked for the same guys the second time, because they did such a great job the first time. They also do storage and take care of my things. There prices are competitive and they are very accommodating."
"Amazing job! Our five bedroom house was loaded and unloaded quickly, carefully transported over three days, nothing damaged. Assembled all the furniture, moved pieces around, cleaned up perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother long-distance move. Punctual, efficient, friendly."
"The bathrooms look terrific. His people started when promised and worked on a Saturday to finish up the job. We were having a hard time picking a color to match an accent tile with a speckled pattern. The automatic color match device at the paint store wasn't coming up with the right color. One of the people working the job helped pick out the perfect color. "

"I am simply amazed at what these guys did! I am trying to update my home interior and wanted to remove the top of my china closet or hutch. Sounds simple but it's not. The hutch is huge, bigger on the top than the bottom, is incredibly heavy (they don't make them like this anymore), and takes several strong men to move. I put this off for awhile not knowing how to move it (I'm 120 lbs), then thought about perusing Angie's List for moving help and found LML. They came out quickly, assessed the situation and moved the top of the hutch to a back room of the basement. I didn't think they could do it because they had to flip it on its side to get it down an L-shaped stairway to the basement. Simply amazing!!! I was almost resigned to having to keep this massive hutch in my dining room. Now I can proceed and buy accessories to update the last room of my home. Thank you LML! "
"Very well. The two men were excellent. Very nice and professional. They came on time and they carried away the stuff I didn't want, including lots of wooden shelving and a metal cabinet left over from the previous owners. I thought they did a great job in the installation. I got this through an Angie's Big Deal so I essentially got $700 off but since I bought the big deal on an impulse, I hadn't done any research on how much this type of thing costs (a big no-no when making these big ticket purchases) so I am left with a bit of buyer's remorse. I also didn't understand or realize that my payment of $299 pretty much sealed the deal on going through with a big project or choose to losie the money. I hadn't done my research and didn't know that there weren't any other smaller, less expensive offers that I could get from Garage Tek so there was a bit of sticker shock. While I am still uncertain if I made a good deal or not (clearly my own fault for not being informed), moneywise, I think it made a huge improvement to my garage and I am very happy with the product and service. Tiny house living requires creative solutions to the one biggest issue: space. Many people in tiny houses find life most manageable if they practice minimalism. Eliminating excess items and clutter makes the living space feel bigger, which can be a significant mood booster. It can also be challenging to get utilities arranged for a tiny house, and building and zoning codes can and often do present unique challenges to overcome.
A foyer or entryway is typically a formal landing area for guests, located at the primary entrance of a home. It is often more formally decorated and connects directly to the main living space. In contrast, a mudroom is a more casual, utilitarian room, usually leading in from a secondary entrance like a garage or the side or rear of the house. It serves as a space for residents to remove shoes and outerwear to keep mud, dirt, and water out of the main home.
You may need a building permit to add a closet, depending on the size and kind of work required to install it. The most likely scenario requiring a permit involves changing the structure of the house and performing electrical work for closet lighting. A permit can cost between $100 and $450. If you’re installing a smaller reach-in closet, a permit may not be required, but always check with your local municipality and consult a closet designer or builder.
Whether it’s less expensive to build or buy a closet depends on both the type of closet and whether or not you’d be constructing it yourself. The cost of custom closets built by a pro ranges from $1,300 to $3,800, but you may be able to DIY it for as little as $400. By contrast, prefabricated options go as low as $200 and up to $3,000, so it’s almost always less expensive to go this route.
Custom furniture can provide more efficient storage and maximize resources.
