"What a great experience - Israel and his crew were true professionals and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. We have a small semi-detached home which originally had screened front and back porches. We wanted to enclose both and expand the very small kitchen into the small back porch area. We decided to remove part of the wall to the dining room to make the space more open. In doing so, we ran into an issue with duct work, but Israel reworked masterfully and now you can't tell it wasn't always like this. We kept it simple with tile floor, white cabinets, granite counter (which because of the size needed he was able to get at a great price) and appliances to scale. Now my friends say it looks like a model kitchen! And the new front porch is a nice oasis, giving us expanded living area. I would say the project took perhaps a little longer than anticipated, but it was during a difficult weather period that had impact on ours as well as their other projects, which no doubt had an effect on scheduling. My advice is to be patient and all will work out. So after all that, the roof started leaking, and now we'll have ICM back to replace it since it's at the end of it's useful life anyway. I definitely plan to call them for future projects."

"We are extremely happy with the work done by Thomas Custom Builders (TCB). Overall they did an amazing and outstanding job! They had a contractor on site, on time every day. Brian S. was professional, helpful, patient, hard working and skilled both in managing subcontractors and doing work himself. I trusted him with our home and would work with Brian/TCB again easily. I have already recommended their company to others. TCB renovated a few parts of our house, added electricity to a shed and added an entire master bedroom suite on an additional floor (adding approximately 550 sqft to our house). They finished earlier than expected. Our neighbors couldn't believe how fast the addition was completed and how well done. Any additional costs from the original budget estimate were due to our choice to add more work. I waited to write a review. I wanted to live in the addition for a little while to see how everything holds up. We have had only minor things arise and have been very pleased with the responsiveness of Brian and TCB to come back out and check on things. They came back to add a bracket to a new countertop that moved slightly, they shaved a door that was sticking as the weather changed, they fixed the damage done when carpets were installed by another company, they arranged for a rep from the hot water heater company to come out and fix a noise issue, all done at no additional cost to us. I have worked with contractors before but nothing on this level. It wasn't perfect, there were concerns that came up. I had to learn that this was major construction and with major construction comes mess. Brian and his team addressed our concerns and remedied any issue fairly. With so many negative stories I've heard from people who worked with other companies, I am so very thankful that we had such a good experience and ended up with such an amazing master suite and changes to our home. We love it and we receive many compliments. We chose to work with TCB because they came highly recommended by a neighbor who had similar work done and were very satisfied with their outcome."

"The project manager of the remodel, Jason, was always in contact with me about when workers would be at the house and to see how everything was going. He also stopped by the house to check on the work. Ismar, the head employee of the job, was very good. He put down tarps to cover the floors and put plastic about the furniture and cabinet in bathroom. He also put up plastic between the bathroom and the bedroom to minimize the dust. The workers were very professional. The tile work in the shower was great. They also had to hang some drywall to fix a closet and paint it. It looks like that was always how the closet was. The shower come out beautiful. I would highly recommend the company and would differently use them again."

"Exterior Waterproofing Experts tied in my downspouts to an existing underground system to move water away from my foundation. They installed four inch gutters and downspouts as well. Prior to installation of downspouts the crew discussed placement and color options with me and explained their planned approach for the underground piping. I was very impressed that installers would take the time and show the concern to engage with the home owner at the time of installation to verify that the placement and color were satisfactory. After the gutter installation a heavy rainstorm tested the system and resulted in a few minor leaks that the contractor promptly resolved. All ground work was leveled and shrubbery returned to the flower beds. Exterior Waterproofing Experts performs excellent work and engages with the home owner like no other contractor that I have experienced. I can highly recommend them for all drainage work based on my experience."

"The crawlspace in our recently purchased house was a mess—full of water, mold, and deteriorated insulation. NV gave us a competitive price, on par with the other bids we got, and their bid seemed more comprehensive than some of the others. Jaime did an excellent job explaining everything to me and talking me through any questions we had. Once the work began, Manny and the rest of the guys did a great job—they were on site promptly each day and were clearly working hard over the three days of the project. Manny was very communicative and easy to work with and even went out of his way to help us with some extra items in the yard. The crawlspace looks awesome now—clean and dry! "Today I met with Howard Glancy from JES Foundation Repair regarding the outside water seepage problem in my house. The water is coming in the bottom-level of my 3-story townhouse (end unit). My townhouse is the last unit located on the bottom of a hill. I also have standing water in my back yard every time it rains. Howard has very impressive credentials and is an expert in his field. After an inspection of the problem area, Howard gave me a very detailed explanation of what needed to be done to fix the problem. The water is coming in up from the ground underneath my house. The previous day I had a meeting with a representative from a different company who said it would be a simple fix with just a french drain on the side of my house. Howard explained why a french drain would not fix the underlying problem. I have decided to go with JES Foundation Repair and feel confident that I made the right choice."

"From the start of the estimate with Jon to the insulation project with the Team Leader Carlos, the project went well as expected. Jon was very professional and knowledgeable. He did not try to up-sale services I did not need, and I appreciate his honesty. Jon went over the appropriate insulation for the attic and the garage ceiling to bring our home to a comfortable level. Carlos and his crew did a great job communicating with me while performing the insulation. Carlos immediately notified me of a leak he discovered from the attic fan and temporarily paused the work on the attic and moved to the garage ceiling insulation while I addressed the leak. As a customer, the only comments/suggestions I would give to the crew is: (1) make sure they keep their tools and materials off the lawn (2) make sure the plastic wraps from the materials they use and trash does not get blown away to the neighbor's yard/driveway, and finally, (3) ask the homeowner which bathroom the crew can use while on-site.
