Outstanding Professional & customer service

DONT USE - This was the second time I've used Prospect HW Flooring. The basement job was done well, but the kitchen job was not. The crew sent to remove the tile didn't have the right tools, so I lent them mine. The subfloor install went well. A couple of months after the install of the LVP, it began to buckle in numerous places, and detach from the other planks. Within a year there were over a dozen areas coming up. Their first attempt to fix was with glue, which didn't hold. During that visit the workers complained to each other about the poor quality of the original install. The second attempt to fix meant pulling several planks, which are now great, but the rest of the kitchen is still buckling.

They did my stairs and rails staining. Replaced two steps. Excellent job. Very professional.

Amazing customer service from both Mike and Jodi, very responsive be it for providing quotes, setting up a time to do the job or to address concerns and questions. I like that Mike actually measured the area to be refinished and provided a professional quote rather than a random amount. Their contractors were also professional in their behavior and got the job done a day ahead of schedule. My floors look rich and alive after the refinishing. Will definitely reconsider them for any flooring job in future.

From the beginning, Prospect Hardwood was clearly superior. Mike, who came out to provide the quote, was very knowledgeable and professional and noticed items I would have completely missed. Jody performed the scheduling and kept me up to date on arrival times and process. The refinishing crew did an amazing job. Floor looks like it is brand new.

This is our second go around with Prospect Hardwood Flooring. A year ago when we bought our house we had them come in and refinish our hardwood floors and they did an excellent job. Now we are in the middle of a kitchen reno and we had them come in and pull up the current tile flooring and install hardwood flooring throughout the kitchen. In the process they had to replace the subflooring and finger in the new hardwood with the old hardwood. The result...you can't tell the difference between the 50 year old flooring and the brand new flooring 🙂.

Our floor was in bad shape from large dogs we’ve had over the years. Prospect flooring came in and sanded and restained the floors and they looked like new. I highly recommend these pros for the job.

This was the 3rd job Prospect has done for us. This time we removed all carpet from upstairs and steps and laid hardwood. A superb job and all in one day!!!

I called on Tuesday snd spoke with Jodi, who is super knowledgeable; she explained the cost and the details of the job. Mike came out on Wednesday for a quick visual evaluation of our dining room floor, and explained everything about the refinishing job. His team was at our house at 8:15 on Thursday doing the lion’s share of the refinishing work and returned at 8:15 on Friday morning to lay a second coat of the urethane. It was quick and the cost was reasonable. Thanks Jodi, Mike and crew for our beautifully refinished dining room floor!

My wide and I are very impressed. They refinished all the floors in our home on multiples floor levels, removed some tile in 2 rooms and then added new flooring, interwoven with existing flooring such that it is indistinguishable for knowing where the new flooring starts vs existing/restrained flooring. They also offered for a reasonable fee to provide us with wooden floor air vent registers that are recessed flush into the floor surface! It looks so nice! They even came back to fix a small issue that was not even their fault - related to a bracket I removed after the work was already finished. We are now looking to hire them again to do our wood surface countertop in the basement laundry room. Thanks Joe for being a straight shooter.

Estimate/measurement appt. was low pressure and low stress. Price for the work and materials was reasonable. Communication with office/rep/crew was easy and clear. The work crew was fantastic. Thoughtful, polite, and FAST. And they have good taste in music to boot

Excellent job at the best price. 10K square feet took three days. Expect lots of pounding! Just FYI, we cleared most of the closets, but the clothes we did leave behind didn’t get dusty.

His wife Jodi takes the role of Project Manager calls you on a daily basis to ensure the customer is satisfied and/or address any concerns. Mike’s team placed new hardwood upstairs and we later coordinated to have our lower level sanded. To prove my point, review the pictures of my flooring both upstairs and downstairs. We recently hired Prospect Hardwood Flooring to install flooring on our main level and replace the existing carpeted stairs with hardwood. We also had some damaged flooring which they repaired and you can not even tell there was a problem. The flooring matched perfectly. Prospect flooring was great! We had a formal estimate in writing immediately on them coming to our house. They were professional, on time, friendly, and informative. They weren't the cheapest option, but worth the extra cost to have the dependability and professionalism. The final re-finishing of our floors was beautiful.
