"What a great experience - Israel and his crew were true professionals and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. We have a small semi-detached home which originally had screened front and back porches. We wanted to enclose both and expand the very small kitchen into the small back porch area. We decided to remove part of the wall to the dining room to make the space more open. In doing so, we ran into an issue with duct work, but Israel reworked masterfully and now you can't tell it wasn't always like this. We kept it simple with tile floor, white cabinets, granite counter (which because of the size needed he was able to get at a great price) and appliances to scale. Now my friends say it looks like a model kitchen! And the new front porch is a nice oasis, giving us expanded living area. I would say the project took perhaps a little longer than anticipated, but it was during a difficult weather period that had impact on ours as well as their other projects, which no doubt had an effect on scheduling. My advice is to be patient and all will work out. So after all that, the roof started leaking, and now we'll have ICM back to replace it since it's at the end of it's useful life anyway. I definitely plan to call them for future projects."

"I found my basement had some mold then hired a handyman opened the drywall. The situation is severe than my expectation, so I use Angie's list to find someone who can fix it. The whole consultation and quotation process is not easy because basement waterproofing is not very common. How to fix it (fix it from inside or outside the basement) is the most important issue need to be clarified. Different contractor give me different proposals and the price are huge different even they recommended a similar solution, and their explanations cannot convince me. I am so happy finally I called Chris. He is very professional, not only told me to fix it exterior but also explained why. The whole work took 3 days and was completed good. They completed the exterior waterproofing and also replaced several downspouts with pop-up drain at the end. They also replaced one extra downspout (not related with the waterproofing work) for free. When they finished the work, they cleaned the site and spread the grass seeds and straws too. One week after they completed all work, one downspout has some leaking issues, I called Chris, and He sent his people to fix it in the second day and fixed it immediately. Now, my basement humidity levels can reach 45%-50% (before the waterproofing, it never lower than 70%)."

"m in process of selling my house and I got dinged for what I originally thought were minor foundation cracks. I decided to have multiple companies come in and take a look at the issue. Company A came out and decided I needed a tier system costing 15K. I almost had a coronary. There were no signs that I had a major foundation issue so I found this a bit suspect. Next, I had Greg from NV Waterproofing come out do a visual inspection and take some measurements using his laser and level. In the end he told me I had normal settlement and to do nothing. Not even fill it b/c that way you can monitor it over time. I offered to pay them him for his time and he respectfully declined. "Today I met with Howard Glancy from JES Foundation Repair regarding the outside water seepage problem in my house. The water is coming in the bottom-level of my 3-story townhouse (end unit). My townhouse is the last unit located on the bottom of a hill. I also have standing water in my back yard every time it rains. Howard has very impressive credentials and is an expert in his field. After an inspection of the problem area, Howard gave me a very detailed explanation of what needed to be done to fix the problem. The water is coming in up from the ground underneath my house. The previous day I had a meeting with a representative from a different company who said it would be a simple fix with just a french drain on the side of my house. Howard explained why a french drain would not fix the underlying problem. I have decided to go with JES Foundation Repair and feel confident that I made the right choice."
