I’m home alone with three kids getting bullied by a plumber at Roto-Rooter. Several hours their sister restoration company called me and said the state was concerned with my flooding and mold from my recent need of a hose bib. Our basement didn’t flood and this company tried to represent themselves as the state! I did get the job done by a certified plumber from ACE, total cost $275.00. So...Roto-Rooter upbid by $500.00 and harassed me. Don’t be this companies next mark, they are crooks!"

"The technician arrived in the first 30 minutes of the 3-hour window. He checked the AC unit, which is on the roof of a 3-floor condo unit, and also checked the inside AC unit. He diagnosed the problem of a dirty indoor evaporator coil. He cleaned it on the spot, which took 90 mins. He didn't charge me for the diagnosis time, and the whole job cost $202.50. (I had an estimate from another contractor of $425.) The technician brought and wore booties in my condo to keep the floor clean. He also brought a small vacuum and vacummed and cleaned the area after he was done. He was professional, courteous and seemed to know what he was talking about when I asked him questions about the AC. I have worked with several other AC contractors, but have never had an experience like this with someone who was on time, professional, efficient and offered as good of value for the money. I will definitely be using Affordable Heating & Cooling again."

Explained in detail what I wanted, asked if it was feasible, etc. He said they could do the water part, but since the gas line is owned by Dominion Energy up to and including the meter, I'd have to talk to them about if the gas line and/or meter needed replacing. Called DE and got on the waiting list for a "pre-eval", and as Rodney recommended I sent an email to PP with all the details of the project and a sketch for clarity. While waiting for DE to get back to me I got an invoice for $165 in the mail from PP. I called PP and asked why"

"Our specific Plumber was Brent Young and hands down he is the best Plumber we have ever had. And after 30 years of home ownership we have had to use a lot. From the beginning there was no high pressure sales. He presented the facts so I could make a smart decision and the pricing was very fair (I shopped around a lot beforehand). When Brent came to install he was super professional and took great care to make sure the service was done right and that we were comfortable with it. He even did a couple of extra small things. Seriously, this was the best plumbing service we have ever had. I highly recommend Brent and would absolutely use him again in the future."

"This was not an emergency since the another plumber had cleared tree roots which were restricting the flow. So their second inspection/opinion was scheduled a couple days out, which was fine. They were fairly prompt and got to work right away. They encountered some remaining roots but told me that the mainline was in great condition and that no liner was needed! Since there was some minor debris buildup, I asked if they could perform a thorough rooting/cleaning. They agreed and brought in a large rooter that would scrape the walls clean (the first plumber had used a wimpy rooter that could be rented at a home center). I was very impressed with their professionalism and honesty. I highly recommend them and will use them again! Saved me lots of money on a unnecessary service."
