"Valley plumbing responded quickly to my request for an estimate and came the next day. Taylor, the plumber, arrived early and was friendly, polite and courteous. He took the time to explain the problem and answer my questions and provided various options to fix it. He worked quickly, and cleaned up after himself. I am delighted with the work that he did. I paid about what I would expect for the job that he did. I would highly recommend Taylor and Valley Plumbing."

Small jobs welcome

"Eric came out and was professional and courteous. While cutting the pipes he mistakenly cut a pipe at the wrong spot. This caused my outdoor hose bib to no longer be functional. He quickly realized this and fixed that issue (made a pex connection). He fixed his mistake with no extra charge. This is nice, because I have experienced in the past where a plumber expected me to pay for their mistake. Eric also gave me quotes on other minor things I plan to do in the future."

"Needed a new toilet installed. Was scheduled by another Plumbing company. They never showed up. They had many excuses as to their rescheduling but pushed the project back again. I called Neighborly Plumbing and Travis was very professional and friendly. He had us by the new toilet and scheduled the plumber Mathew to install it. Mathew came on the scheduled time, installed the toilet in less than an hour and he was on his way. So professional and very nice. Canâ t wait for something else to replace so I can call them again."

"Wes was very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the problem with my water heater. We went through my options and Wes educated me along the way to help me make the decision on what I should do. He even showed me what was wrong so I knew I could trust him. Iâ ve already scheduled Plumbing and Company to come back and install a new vanity sink in my bathroom. Glad to have found a plumber I can trust."

"Khaing did a wonderful job installing my tankless water heater and water softener. Alma provided great customer service regarding my two showers. He really helped me in fixing one shower and advising me the best way to manage my other shower. I really appreciate all they did for me. Everything is working perfectly."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Mandatory inspections are the primary factor requiring multiple visits for plumbing in Draper. Any permitted project requires one visit for the active work and at least one follow-up visit for the final inspection. Excavation work on the rocky eastern bench also extends timelines across multiple days. Additionally, limited crawl space access and the need to source specific parts for older UT homes will split a project into several sessions.

Helpful?

Look for white mineral crusts or green corrosion at joints, which indicate failing materials due to hard water in UT. Mismatched pipe materials or temporary compression clamps from past freeze emergencies are clear signs of incomplete plumbing work. Persistent sewer gas odors in your basement point to deteriorating drain lines. Finally, unpermitted work or failed past inspections on municipal records mean the previous installation lacks verified code compliance in Draper.

Helpful?

Start by checking local permit requirements, as most plumbing work beyond simple fixture repairs requires municipal approval. Verify that your chosen contractor holds an active state license. If you live in an HOA community in Draper, review their specific notification rules. For underground work, request utility locates to mark your existing sewer lines. Planning around mandatory inspection cycles in UT ensures your project stays on track without unexpected work stoppages.

Helpful?

Postponing plumbing repairs creates severe property hazards. Delaying work on pipes in unheated spaces through the winter significantly increases the risk of frozen and burst pipes due to low Draper temperatures. Ignoring hard water issues accelerates scale buildup, which ruins water heaters. Furthermore, neglecting aging sewer laterals in UT clay soils leads to complete pipe collapses. Address slow leaks immediately to prevent extensive mold growth and structural water damage.

Helpful?

Timelines for plumbing vary based on the project scope in Draper. Minor fixture repairs finish in a single day. Replacing a water heater takes one day of active work, plus a few extra days for mandatory inspections. A full bathroom remodel takes three to ten days of active work. High demand during the spring and fall remodel seasons in UT will extend your total project timeline by several weeks.
