"Tevita, the owner of Tonga Brothers came to our house a few times. Because It took husband and I a couple of days to finally agree on where and how big to make the patio! He was totally cool & patient with our indecision. Once we solidified our plan, Tevita was able to put us in his schedule within a couple of days. He and his crew put in our 13x13 flagstone patio in 6 hours. They worked so hard on a really hot day. They were all really nice guys, professional and it was obvious they knew what they were doing! "The crew that cut down the tree worked hard and fell the tree quickly and cleaned up realitively well. Some debris was left in the street and gutter in front of my neighbors homes that I ended up cleaning up and with two herniated discs, that was not a pleasant job. The original agreement of work asked to have the stump ground down and all the saw dust cleaned up. The tree felling crew did grind MOST of the stump but did not complete it. Left all of the saw dust piled on top of the remaining stump. Again, I was out there moving saw out of the way and discovered that the stump grinding was incomplete. I ended up paying a second company to come in to clean up the mess - it is in my front yard after all. Contacted MDM two days in a row and was told someone would be out to finish up the job. No one showed. Disapppinting to say the least. I really need this stump gone as we are resodding and this is now in the way. I will not use this company again due to lack of communication and lack of follow up."

"Jose immediately answered my call. I had used the Vargas Brothers many times when I lived in Sandy but I had moved to Tooele and wasn't sure if they would come out to me. They absolutely did and they came out within a day to view the scope of the work, and called back, as promised, with the next available time which was about a week out. Our front yard is about 1/4 acre and was riddled with weeds and overgrowth; the side yards and back are another 1/4 acre which was just as bad. On top of that, the weeds were growing in landscaped rock areas which prove to be very (extremely) difficult to work and maintain ... our property looked horrible! They arrived on time, a team of the men, who worked for six hours straight. The results made our jaws drop! They took four loads of yard debris! They were extremely meticulous with their work and were very pleasant. Vargas Brothers have never let us down and are our GO TO servicer for all of our yard care! I see a previous review that was not favorable and I think this person probably would never be satisfied with any landscaper! Vargas Brothers are reliable, thorough, courteous, hard-working, and are worth every penny!"
