"After posting a google review a week ago on Google. [Member Name Removed] has apparently overcome amnesia and gone back to edit his original review with different sequence of events and $ numbers. Attached is our original response to his original review which IS NOT modified. If I could post my screen shot of his original review and related invoices I would. However Social media sites do not allow it. Also, An added note I did not want to call out with our original response.......Our technician noted on 4/28/23 that a nest thermostat had been installed on the system and he set it up for [Member Name Removed] to operate with the new furnace. Still...... I am happy and willing to help Mr. [Member Name Removed] install the communicating thermostat for the original quoted price at the time of install @ $849.00. I do not compete with Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe's or any national big box store or on-line retailer. I guarantee you will find it cheaper and if you do you should make that purchase and install it yourself? My prices included a professional service, parts, mark up, tax, and labor / overhead. "Response posted 9/18/2024" The install price quoted at the time of the bid was $849.00. The option to go with a less expensive thermostat that is included with all our standard installations at no cost was chosen for the system. The manufacture (top of the line) proprietary thermostat unfortunately does cost more. To return and install the requested thermostat nearly 2 years later does include a labor expense because it takes around 1.5 hours to install and set up with the system. The suggested “additional $600.00” is inaccurate and not correct. I am willing to match the quoted price given at the time of the installation nearly 2 years ago. If interested give me a call. "First I would like to praise our technician who discovered a very scary and dangerous situation. A vent pipe had come apart and was not venting the carbon monoxide gases properly. He immediately contacted a supervisor who drove to the home to help find the best way to proceed with the repair. A price was calculated to install a new flue pipe for the labor AND materials. The owner always has the option to obtain other bids, in this case the bid was accepted and we proceeded with the work. We shop our prices and know we are very competitive. What I think is most important is that a very dangerous situation was caught and corrected."

However, my on call plumber who had done several emergency requests on Sunday never received this call. Our pager service is instructed to NOT quote times or expectations to customers over the phone.
