"I received a couple other bids for a new water heater that were quite a bit higher. After I requested a bid from Page Plumbing through HomeAdvisor the owner called within the hour. He gave me a bid over the phone. He told me the water heater model, warranty info etc. and offered to install it the same day. I will call Page Plumbing again for future plumbing needs."

"Valley plumbing responded quickly to my request for an estimate and came the next day. Taylor, the plumber, arrived early and was friendly, polite and courteous. He took the time to explain the problem and answer my questions and provided various options to fix it. He worked quickly, and cleaned up after himself. I am delighted with the work that he did. I paid about what I would expect for the job that he did. I would highly recommend Taylor and Valley Plumbing."

"Ive been using Terry for anything plumbing related since 2012. I've had work done to make my water heater work, then eventually replaced my water heater; he helped me set up a bidet and hand rails in my shower for my elderly mom; he’s installed my dishwasher because it needed a longer line. Currently, I have a leak in my main water line between my house and the sidewalk... and I'm sure it's going to be awesome. Terry is great with my mother and my dogs. Love him and happy to have him to call or text whenever I need him. Also, always works me in fast even with my difficult schedule. :)"

"Needed a new toilet installed. Was scheduled by another Plumbing company. They never showed up. They had many excuses as to their rescheduling but pushed the project back again. I called Neighborly Plumbing and Travis was very professional and friendly. He had us by the new toilet and scheduled the plumber Mathew to install it. Mathew came on the scheduled time, installed the toilet in less than an hour and he was on his way. So professional and very nice. Canâ t wait for something else to replace so I can call them again."

"Wes was very knowledgeable and was able to diagnose the problem with my water heater. We went through my options and Wes educated me along the way to help me make the decision on what I should do. He even showed me what was wrong so I knew I could trust him. Iâ ve already scheduled Plumbing and Company to come back and install a new vanity sink in my bathroom. Glad to have found a plumber I can trust."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

During plumbing projects in Midvale, unexpected expenses arise from mandatory permit upgrades to meet the current Utah Plumbing Code. Uncovering corroded galvanized pipes or cracked cast iron drains in older homes requires full replacement rather than simple spot repairs. Additionally, excavating in former lake-bed soils demands extra shoring, and camera inspections reveal root-damaged sewer laterals that demand complete replacement.

Helpful?

Postponing plumbing repairs in Midvale leads to severe property damage and safety hazards. Uninsulated pipes burst during hard winter freezes, causing immediate structural water damage. Delaying water heater maintenance accelerates tank corrosion from the highly mineralized local water supply. Furthermore, ignoring slow leaks saturates moisture-prone lake-bed soils, which undermines the foundation. Address all minor leaks and blockages immediately to prevent mandatory, extensive code-compliance upgrades across your entire system.

Helpful?

The semi-arid climate in UT heavily impacts local plumbing systems. Severe winter freezes require thorough insulation for exposed pipes and outdoor hose bibs to prevent bursting. Spring snowmelt raises groundwater levels, increasing hydrostatic pressure on basement drains and sewer laterals. Plan major exterior excavations for the mild spring or fall months. Protect outdoor plastic components from intense summer heat and UV degradation to ensure long-lasting performance.

Helpful?

Completing proactive plumbing upgrades in Midvale provides immediate protection against frozen pipes and reduces monthly utility waste. Replacing corroded lines instantly restores water pressure and improves overall water quality. Over the long term, addressing drainage issues protects your foundation from moisture damage in local lake-bed soils. Installing water softeners extends the lifespan of your fixtures, while adding flexible seismic connections ensures your property remains secure during earthquakes.

Helpful?

As a home ages in Midvale, plumbing needs shift from basic maintenance to major system overhauls. Newer properties require simple fixture updates and water heater servicing due to hard water scale. By forty years, galvanized supply lines and cast iron drains reach their end of life, requiring full repiping. Older homes also demand mandatory seismic upgrades, like flexible couplings and strapped water heaters, to withstand UT fault line activity.
