"I was extremely pleased to be able to set up an appointment for the plumber to come out and provide an estimate, and then another to come out the very next morning and completed the following : - Remove the 2 existing faucets in the master bath and install the new ones. - Check the faucet lever in the master shower, because it tends to fall off when used. - Backflush the Rinnai tankless hot water heater. - Do what is necessary for the commode in a guest bath to flush properly. I am totally pleased with the work done, as well as the plumber himself. He was professional, yet friendly, extremely knowledgeable, completed everything in an orderly and neat manner and was able to answer every question I had to my satisfaction. I plan to use Plumbing and Drain Innovations when I need plumbing work done in the future. I find the price charged for all of the work done to be reasonable, compared with the other quotes I received to do this work."

Customers say: Quality work

"This company is awesome! I had my foundation repaired so I needed a plumber to come out and make sure I had no breaks in my sewer line. Tom sent Greg a very nice and professional gentlemen showed me with a camera that my lines had no breaks then cleaned out a drain line caused by A/C slug without breaking the bank like most plumbing companies. I have finally found a plumbing company for life."

"They SAVED me $ 3,000. If you need help with a Tankless Water Heater - LOOK NO FURTHER! I had issues with my water heater b/c the temperature could not go above 100 degrees. My first plumber told me that i needed a new circuit board or a new water heater. The second plumber wanted to charge me $ 325 for a diagnosis. I found Affinity Plumbing on Angies List. They came over and was able to fix the issue with my temperature in about 30 minutes, saving me at least $ 600 for a new circuit board or $ 3,000 + for a new water heater as the other plumbers advised. They have REAL EXPERTISE in Tankless Water Heaters and are honest and professional. They are my NEW PLUMBERS! They deserve an A+"

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Schedule plumbing projects before winter to insulate pipes against hard freezes, or after prolonged summer droughts when dry clay soil stresses underground lines. A sustained, unexplained increase in your water bill also signals an active leak. For older TX homes, proactively replace water heaters approaching a decade of use and inspect aging cast iron drains for corrosion.

Helpful?

Start by assessing your water quality. Willis draws from an aquifer with high mineral content, so installing a water softener prevents severe scale buildup. You should also inspect your property's drainage and sump systems to protect against local flooding. Finally, verify whether your home uses a municipal sewer or a septic system, and schedule a septic inspection immediately if applicable.

Helpful?

You must authorize local permit applications and coordinate property access for required municipal inspections. During slab leak repairs in Willis, you choose between tunneling under the foundation or breaking through the concrete. You also decide on pipe materials during repiping and select whether to install whole-house or point-of-use water softeners to combat local hard water conditions.

Helpful?

Sticking doors combined with slow drains indicate expansive clay soil has shifted your foundation and broken underground pipes. Reduced water pressure across multiple fixtures signals severe hard water scale buildup inside your supply lines. In Willis, musty odors under sinks or warped flooring point to hidden leaks, while unusually green yard patches indicate a failing septic drain field.

Helpful?

Unexpected expenses often arise from expansive clay soils shifting and cracking underground pipes, turning a single repair into a larger excavation project. High humidity in TX also causes hidden wall leaks to rapidly develop mold, requiring separate remediation. Additionally, mandatory code upgrades and local permit fees frequently add to your final bill during major plumbing work.
