"We had moved a lot of our boxes ourselves the day we closed on our house.  We went from a 2 story house (master up) to another 2 story house.  We had a lot of heavy furniture that needed to be carried downstairs, so hired New Caney Movers.  I had read a lot of reviews where moving companies showed up late, so scheduled the first available appointment on Saturday.  3 men showed up and started moving and wrapping furniture.  It took a total of 4 hours and 1 trip to get everything moved into the new house where we wanted it to go.  We had to keep them moving to speed them up at times, and thankfully had my husband and a good friend there helping move and carry things.  At the end of the move, nothing was broken, and no walls were damaged, so we were pleased.

"They came to our home and gave us a quote We thought they were very professional and liked their quote. They told us we would need 2 trucks and about 5 hours to load. The workers that came to move us were very nice young men. I didn't have a problem with them. The problem was we ended up needing 3 trucks (barely) and ended up paying $1500.00 more than the original quote because of the 3rd truck and they charge by the hour. I felt like they totally under estimated how much time it would take to load and unload. The men that were here were moving as fast as they could but I feel they were totally not reasonable when they gave us our quote. I was trusting they knew what they were doing. Had we known this, we might have chosen a different moving company. I felt we were lied to on the quote to get our business.
