Instead of taking my concerns seriously, they implied I had made it up—based solely on the fact that one of the movers had tattoos. Coming from humble beginnings, with my father working as a construction worker, this stereotype felt deeply offensive and unprofessional. To make matters worse, when I sent a message asking for the movers’ names, I was left on read. I followed up again, and was once again ignored.
