I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience using this moving company. During my move, three luxury handbags and a wallet, each valued at around $2,000, went missing. These items were kept securely in my home, and the movers were the only individuals with access during that time. When I raised the issue, the company’s response was not only dismissive but insulting. Instead of taking my concerns seriously, they implied I had made it up—based solely on the fact that one of the movers had tattoos. Coming from humble beginnings, with my father working as a construction worker, this stereotype felt deeply offensive and unprofessional. To make matters worse, when I sent a message asking for the movers’ names, I was left on read. I followed up again, and was once again ignored. This lack of transparency and basic respect only added to the frustration. The total loss was nearly $9,000 worth of personal property, and I was left without any resolution or accountability. I strongly urge anyone considering this company to think twice before trusting them with valuable belongings.

"To start with, she is accusing us of theft and said she had cameras on her property and I spoke with the boys and we were willing to show our faces and she said she was going to take us to court and she didn't. If she had cameras, if she accuses someone of theft it's because there is evidence and the photos she sent are taken from the internet. What a coincidence, they were worth $2,000 each, which were 3 in total, $6,000. Now she says they are $9,000. She is just getting tangled up because she didn't act at the time. This happened several months ago."

The Movers did not speak a bit of English and took almost 6 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment with an elevator moving 5 minutes away to a storage unit. Wrapping my couch and some other items took longer because it seemed they were inexperienced.

"Maybe English was not spoken perfectly. At the beginning, I told her that it was impossible to do it in 2 hours. I had too many things and many loose things that were not packed. It was not possible to even move because of how much I had in the living room. Everything was prepared and a lift was used. I protected the furniture. I had televisions and several pictures. I even asked her to cover delicate items. We are not magicians at performing magic. It was impossible to do it in 2 hours because of how much I had. We are movers and we try to do the best we can so that the client is satisfied. If she has hired other companies that move things without protecting them, maybe that is the case."

I had a fantastic experience with Acapulco Movers. The two-man team, led by Simon, was absolutely outstanding. From the moment they arrived, they were prompt, professional, and respectful. They worked very well together, handling all of my belongings with great care and efficiency. They made sure to ask exactly where I wanted everything placed, and they did so with patience and attention to detail. The movers were awesome! They were quick and efficient. We had three stops and they had no issue with moving quickly at each stop. Everything was loaded carefully. I would definitely book with this company again.

The 2-man crew got my move done quick and were very well stocked with blankets and tape. Communication was simple and straightforward directly to one of the gentleman who was doing the moving. There was no middle-man/office person to go through (thus costing more), and no pricing gimmicks or fancy trucks were rolled into the cost as with some other movers who provided quotes tried to sell me on. Don't be a sap and hire these guys! The apartment I moved from was 3rd floor and had a narrow steep staircase, which I'd consider a difficult move, but Acapulco movers handled it without damaging my belongings.

I’ve used Simon 3 times, he and his crew are fantastic. They take great care ensuring my items are well protected. I have a very large cabinet and they have moved it up and down numerous flights of stairs. I highly recommend and if I move again, I will definitely use them.

Very prompt getting us a quote. Once we booked, they followed up 24 hours before the move as well as the morning of. Arrived early and finished early. Very careful with my antiques. Highly recommend!

Amazing!! They called with a quote right away and stuck to the number agreed on. No hidden fees or trying to switch the pricing day of. They showed up early and worked their Tails off the entire time. They used their truck and helped unload my packed u-haul. I would seriously recommend them to anyone and would use again if I ever need to move.
