"Absolute waste of time and money. I scheduled a very simple job - replace two exterior wall sconces (porch lights) with two new ones. The old ones work fine, we just want to update the look. Scheduled service for a date and time and acknowledged there is a $69 service/trip fee which is waived if you have them do the work; no problem. They even called day-of to see if tech could come out earlier than scheduled, which worked fine. When tech arrived, I explained the very straightforward job I wanted done. He looked over the new parts, and I thought we'd be good to go. Then he said that before he did anything he had to do a "safety inspection." An hour later he quoted me a multi-thousand dollar bid to replace all sorts of equipment I had no interest in replacing. And the simple job, if he did just that, would be over $550. I declined, and so it cost me $69 to have no work done and waste my time. I will either do this myself or find a local handyman. Avoid this company like the plague."

We have never experienced storm or hurricane damage in the 35 years we have lived in our home but it was time we mitigated the risk. These shutters also function as security for our home when we are away on a trip. They are managed either individually from a local remote control or can be managed remotely via a mobile application from a smartphone.
