"The RF Team was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and quoted a very fair price for a difficult job. We had a large old tree in our backyard that extended out over our garage that needed to be removed because of disease and accelerated rotting. The tree was difficult to access due its location and the configuration of our lot, but the RF team was able to remove the tree without issue. They were quick, tidy, easy to work with, and did a great job. Highly recommend!"

"Tree Care Professionals arrived in under 24 hours after contacting them to provide a quote for the service. We found them to be well priced for the work when compared to other quotes we received. The service was great on the scheduled day. We were contacted and informed of the arrival time. The crew arrived on time, and they were all very professional about getting the job done. They took great care to ensure they didn't damage the surrounding area, and they cleaned it all up very well after they were done. I would highly recommend them for their service."

"Felipe is a professional business man that believes in the quality of service he has to offer. I recommend him and carry his card around with me because I want everyone I know to experience what professionalism looks and feels like. Let me mention tree removal, clean up was the job but his customer service will continue to add value to his business. " Keep up the good work Felipe". Yolanda Watson"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

If your palm tree has spots on the leaves, rotting buds, or is beginning to turn yellow, then you have a sick tree on your hands. You should contact a palm tree specialist to identify the problem and help treat the tree if possible. Preventing diseases and pests is key to a healthy palm tree, and it's essential to take action as soon as possible if your tree is showing signs of being sick.

Whether you should remove the roots of a dead tree depends on whether they’re damaging nearby areas. For instance, if the roots continue to grow near sidewalks, driveways, or the foundation of your home, they can cause damage. If you want to plant something else in that spot, removing the roots can make it easier for the new tree or plant to grow.

Though summer is not ideal, you can do some light pruning during this time of year. Just make sure it’s not excessive. Vigorous pruning will stress the tree and impact next year’s growth. Generally, August to September are the best summer-pruning months, particularly for fruit trees.

If you’re taking down a tree that you don’t suspect is affected by disease or pests and it’s nowhere near your home or other structures, then calling in a tree company should work fine. However, anything more involved means an arborist is a better option. These pros have years of experience with tree removal and can safely take down trees located next to structures, and they have the tools, sanitization equipment, and experience to remove sick or dying trees without infecting nearby trees.

Generally, you should prune around 20% of an apple tree’s growth—and never more than 30%. This means that if you have a severely overgrown tree, it can take a few seasons to prune it back enough to produce the healthiest fruit.

If you’re dealing with a newly planted or juvenile tree, hold off on pruning beyond the initial shaping. Wait at least a couple of seasons into fruit production since pruning can increase the number of water sprouts and unproductive foliage.
