"It was great! The crew showed up earlier than expected, which was no problem at all. They began work right away and did a great cleanup. Michael was in excellent contact with me through the entire process. I really appreciated the way he kept in touch. I highly recomend Affordable Tree service for tree and shrub removal."

"I requested the service online on one evening. I received a call from Mr. Solis at 8AM the next morning offering to come over and provide an estimate. He arrived about 30 minutes later and did an assessment on the work to be done. I initially planned to have one tree removed with stump grinding. He looked at the other tree which had broken and advised that it should be removed. He assessed all the trees on my property and advised that 6 of them needed to be trimmed for tree health reasons. He provided a quote for the work that he recommended. The price appeared reasonable but I felt that I needed to get at least one other quote. Another tree service came and provided a quote for the work which was several hundred dollars lower. I opted to go with Mr. Solis and Good Morrow because he offered to do the work on the same day and his was a larger company with excellent reviews. In spite of the fact that we were having heavy rain at around noon, he stated that if the rain stopped he would have a crew here today. Surely, the rain did stop and the crew arrived. The crew was very professional and the teamwork was amazing to behold. The work was completed in less that three hours and all the debris removed and my yard left cleaner than it was when they arrived. My wife and I are very pleased with the work and feel the company did us a great favor."

"Tree Care Professionals arrived in under 24 hours after contacting them to provide a quote for the service. We found them to be well priced for the work when compared to other quotes we received. The service was great on the scheduled day. We were contacted and informed of the arrival time. The crew arrived on time, and they were all very professional about getting the job done. They took great care to ensure they didn't damage the surrounding area, and they cleaned it all up very well after they were done. I would highly recommend them for their service."

"They came out and gave me a quote within the hour and overall, provided great customer service. The work completed was fast and efficient though I wish they would have taken more time to shape the trees, as a few limbs were missed. Overall, I am pleased with their service."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

You can use the formula mentioned earlier to calculate the depth of tree roots. Each inch of width of a tree trunk translates to six inches of depth within the root system. Large trees extend anywhere from 2 to 6 feet into the ground, with some magnificent specimens going even deeper.

In most cases, your neighbor is responsible for roots from their tree that cause damage to your property. If your pavement, the foundation of your home, or a fence is damaged by roots from a neighbor’s tree, you likely will have legal recourse for financial relief. While it’s better to notify your neighbor of any problems you notice as soon as they arise to avoid costly damage, there are some instances where filing a civil suit is your only recourse. Your homeowner’s insurance company might wish to do so on your behalf if you file a claim.

You’ll have to balance up the cost, the value of the tree (sentimental or otherwise), and the risk factors. An experienced arborist will help you understand whether transplanting is likely to be successful. The cost and hassle of transplanting a large, well-established tree are often not worth it, especially if the species is fast-growing and easy to source. The decision depends on the age and species of the tree, the conditions in the new site location, and how careful the company is when digging out and moving the tree.

There are a few differences between tree guying and tree staking. Tree guying requires anchor stakes that are shorter and stronger than regular stakes and are driven deeper into the ground at an angle away from the tree. Tree staking uses longer stakes that are set parallel to the tree and are used for smaller trees. Consult a local tree professional to determine which method is best for your tree.

Dead tree branches should be removed, because they can cause the tree to lose nutrients. They can also make the tree more susceptible to disease and pests. Removing dead and diseased branches can help the tree recover and increase the odds of saving a dying tree. Make sure to prune the tree correctly to avoid damaging it further.
