"A contractor I’ve been doing business with contacted Lonnie early Tuesday morning to perform plumbing services related to a broken water pipe. While at the house he: made a thorough inspection of all areas showing damage, and replaced a length of copper pipe with (far superior) pex pipe. The copper pipe had burst during the freeze of January 2024. He was diligent and careful to remove only those portions of drywall and other materials to evaluate the extent of water damage. Along the way, he made (plumbing-related) suggestions that would ultimately be money-saving. For example, he suggested getting a tankless water heater and tomorrow, he will install an icemaker connection box for our refrigerator. Lonnie is very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He provides excellent plumbing services and he places them far above profit. I highly recommend him."

It turns out that we had a bolt still attached underneath the sink from a previous water filter installation. We needed a different type of bolt and he switched the bolts for free! He even gave me some much needed advice to help prevent further leaks from the faucet area. I really appreciated the extra mile! I am very pleased with Lone Star Water Services and would gladly recommend them to others."

Received Angie's List response saying that we would be contacted "soon" After three days, had not been contacted by contractor, so we called. They returned our call within ten minutes and said they had been having problems with being contacted by Angie's List. and scheduled the service for first thing the following morning. Upon arrival and inspection, the plumber said both shutoff valves needed to be replaced as well for an additional charge of $75. This was not a surprise to us, and we had purchased replacement valves already. We believed the additional repair was needed and the cost was reasonable. Replacement was performed in a professional manner, cleanup performed and repair tested. Would use again."

This job included removal of old counters, under mount sink, and included all plumbing and electrical work. They even reinstalled new faucets in the bathroom.  The whole job took couple weeks but it was done very well and we are happy with the results. Derek provided advice on how we could save existing black splash tiles.  He also went an extra mile and replaced a faulty faucet multiple times until it was done right.
