"When we originally contacted Cliff Morgan, I had to leave a voice mail.  He called me back within a couple of hours, and agreed to come take a look at the leak in addition to providing a free estimate.  He arrived on time and was very professional.  After listening to various water sources (sinks, shower, outdoor spigot, etc), he believed the leak was between the sink and the shower in one of the bathrooms.  He gave me a couple of leak scenarios and the associated repairs that would be done along with a best case estimate and a worst case estimate (noting that the cost could exceed the worst case if there was something that could not be foreseen with the repair).  He was available to do the work the next day, so we agreed. 
He called the next morning to let me know he was on his way and arrived on time.  He spent time methodically testing the water lines to pin point the offending pipe.  As he originally thought, the leak was on the cold side between the sink and shower in one of the bathrooms.  The repair was effective and efficient and he explained everything that he was doing.  The pieces cut out of the walls were small and neatly done.
Best of all, the total bill was actually *less* than the best case scenario quote, which was great news.
While we hope we never see him again (we don't need any more slab leaks!), we would not hesitate to contact him again.  Additionally, we'd highly recommend him.to anyone that needs his services.  If all contractors were like Cliff, home repair/update projects would be *far* less frustrating!

"A contractor I’ve been doing business with contacted Lonnie early Tuesday morning to perform plumbing services related to a broken water pipe. While at the house he: made a thorough inspection of all areas showing damage, and replaced a length of copper pipe with (far superior) pex pipe. The copper pipe had burst during the freeze of January 2024. He was diligent and careful to remove only those portions of drywall and other materials to evaluate the extent of water damage. Along the way, he made (plumbing-related) suggestions that would ultimately be money-saving. For example, he suggested getting a tankless water heater and tomorrow, he will install an icemaker connection box for our refrigerator. Lonnie is very professional, knowledgeable and personable. He provides excellent plumbing services and he places them far above profit. I highly recommend him."

Our Tech was Glenn, He called before coming and he arrived on time. He was very polite, professional and friendly. He went to work quickly 

We have had slow drain in the kitchen sink since we move here 4yrs ago. Sink would back up and go into dishwasher. We could not run water in kitchen sink while the dishwasher was running without drains backing up. The Plumber came in undid the pipes under the sink and ran a plumbing snake through the pipes until he dislodged what ever had been causing the stoppage for all these years, reconnected all the pipes and did all this without causing a mess! Afterwards he checked to be sure all the pipes drained well. Removed his equipment and was gone in less than 30 min!! It was wonderful! The pipes never drained so well..

   It is awesome to not have to worry about washing dishes and  not fearing another mess.

Received Angie's List response saying that we would be contacted "soon" After three days, had not been contacted by contractor, so we called. They returned our call within ten minutes and said they had been having problems with being contacted by Angie's List. and scheduled the service for first thing the following morning. Upon arrival and inspection, the plumber said both shutoff valves needed to be replaced as well for an additional charge of $75. This was not a surprise to us, and we had purchased replacement valves already. We believed the additional repair was needed and the cost was reasonable. "First of all let me say that I had been searching for months for someone to do my bathroom project. No one seemed quite right either because of price or just because I didn't have a "good" feeling about them. I trust my instinct. I found Stonemasters of DFW on Angie's List one evening while I was searching bathroom remodeling deals, so I went to their website to see what they were all about. I was super excited about what I found there and contacted Derek right away. We arranged a time for him to come out and take a look at my project. He was there a few days later to see my project and chat about what I had in mind. I was very comfortable and confident that he knew exactly what I wanted and would do a great job for me. I decided to hire Stonemasters right away, no hesitation. Derek suggested I buy the deal on Angie's list, so I did.
I was picky about the tile color that I wanted so Derek was on a mission to find the right tile samples for me. He did a good job of getting many shades of the blue and green that I had in mind, but I decided to go shopping for myself and bought the tile at Floor and Decor to save time (so no special ordering). 
Once I had the tile in hand it was quick and easy to make an appointment for the installers to come out to the house and get to work on my project. Manny was the man doing the installation with his brother (another tile man) helping him. I can't say enough about these men and what a beautiful job they did for me. They completed the work in 2 days. One to demo, lay the floor tile and install the shower tile and the second day to grout. Not only were they fast but they did a stellar job, they were very respectful, careful, professional and cleaned up very nicely after their day was done. Manny asked me questions about what I wanted him to do when appropriate and he also gave me very good advice based on his years of experience (which I happily took). We ran into one problem with a bit of the accent tile (it had paper instead of mesh backing, pretty unusual I understand now) , but Derek had Manny come and take the mislaid tile out and install it again correctly and  that fixed it perfectly. BTW, Derek was always very quick to respond to my questions and never let more than an hour go by before he got back to me.
I am an ecstatically happy customer and I could not love my new shower and floor any more then I do! I waited a very long time for this beauty and it was very much worth the wait! I will recommend Stonemasters of DFW to anyone who is wanting to remodel a bathroom or kitchen, have new tile or counter tops installed or have any other work done that  that they excel in. I definitely found the best company to do my project and got a very fair price. Thank you Stonemasters and thank you Angie's List!

"They came out quickly, on time, and gave me a courtesy call which was a nice touch. Got to work fast found the broken pipe also found a valve box that'd been buried by years of dirt. They did a great job, cleaned up after the job was done. Overall very pleased with the work would call again for future repairs"
