"Listen folks, I got me an education about cutting down my trees. I just wanted them gone. But these professional guys that know there stuff advised me appropriately. I had know ideal how the process work an trimming are cutting down trees. They wasn't bother by me observing the process. I was amazed how the crew used equipment with ease. This technic come with experienced. And most of all they was affordable and reasonable. And gave me an deal all along the way. If it was any one else, like these large tree companies, I couldn't afford it. So it pays to hire the little guy, that dose big company work. And I give a big thumbs up for these guys. For a outstanding job, and will contact them in the future. If anyone ask me about who do trees and yard work. I will say "BSB CONCRETE & LANDSCAPING, RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL. "Matt Rogan is professional and efficient, while being friendly and personable. Matt provided a reasonable quote to trim a tree and 2 shrubs. He and his crew did an excellent job in a short amount of time. The “after”photo is attached for the tree and 1 shrub. There was not enough file space for the “before” photos. Matt also referred me to someone who was able to replace some pipe and a fitting for the septic clean out the same day. I highly recommend Rogan’s Tree Service."

"We needed to do something about the land surrounding our vacation home where grass would only grow in patches due to the large trees shading the area. We wanted it to be safer for the grandkids to play as well as making it more aesthetically appealing. I wasnâ t sure about installing artificial grass but after much research, decided to go forward and chose Tex-Turf. They did an amazing job and gave us exactly what we wanted. They were patient with us (we asked many questions over several days) and very professional from start to finish. Beyond happy with how good it looks and how soft it feels barefoot."

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

The truth is, there really is no such thing as a 100% deer-proof plant. Deer will decimate even the prickliest flora if they’re hungry enough. However, there are plenty of beautiful plants that deer don’t necessarily enjoy. These include thistles, wisteria vines, sword ferns, and beautyberries.

Deer are herbivores, and they love vegetable gardens as much as Peter Rabbit. If you don’t want to fence in your entire property, consider creating an attractive raised-bed veggie garden with mesh fencing around it to keep out deer and other critters.

The duration of a lakefront landscaping project is determined by its scope, environmental conditions, and weather impacts. It often takes several weeks to a few months to complete.

The most important thing to put under a rock garden is the appropriate soil. The specific soil needed will depend on the type of plants you’re growing as well as the environment you live in. You can also put non-woven or woven fabric under the rocks to add to the garden's structural stability.

A scattering of leaves won’t pose a problem through the winter, but a thicker layer of leaves may not decompose before the first frost and can instead weigh down your grass and harbor mold or fungi. A thick layer of leaves also cuts off light and air that grass needs to grow. That’s why we suggest removing thick leaf layers within several days if possible. If your lawn goes dormant over the winter and snow has already caught up with you, then remove the leaves in early spring before your grass-growing season starts so your lawn can thrive.

Most bamboo can send roots down two to three feet into the ground. However, when stopping bamboo from spreading, the focus is on the runner roots or rhizomes. These roots are much shallower, staying 12 inches or less from the surface, so they’re easier to find and remove. But if you want to remove the bamboo entirely, you’ll have to dig out the full root system.
