"This is the actual observation from a bonded and licensed electrician I had to hire to correct On Electrics installation. Observations regarding existing RGB LED tape light: RGB LED tape lighting that was installed was of low quality, and therefore has issues giving off a consistent color when using the remote to change colors Multiple different sections were used to accomplish the project so this also adds to the color consistency issues. Sections of the RGB LED tape light do not even light up. This usually occurs when the tape light has been bent to much during installation causing a break in the fragile internal wiring and nails drive through the lighting strips during installation. The low voltage transformers that power the RGB tape light and that plug into outlets are indoor rated and are plugged directly into exposed exterior outlets. Over time these should fail due to exposure to weather. Exterior outlets should have a bubble cover over them when anything is plugged into them permanently on the exterior of the home. The eave of the home was left exposed where the tape light was run through holes that were drilled for access. These holes are large enough for mice and bugs to gain access to the eve of the home. He only came back once and still did not fix the lighting. He took his time to respond to my messages, I found numerous lighting alternatives that I was willing to pay extra for and still he refused to correct the problem. I paid him to install lighting that worked and he never installed lighting that worked. He installed the lighting but it was damaged during the installation. He refuses to honor his workmanship and claims that I only paid him to install the lighting. We had an agreement (understood verbally) that he would install lighting that WORKED. THE LIGHTS HAVE NEVER WORKED CORRECTLY! He was made aware of this fact numerous times but still refuses to fix the problem. He has been given ample opportunity to remove the lights for the refund but he refuses to do so. Please save yourself the pain in dealing with this company. He did try to use the "I'm a veteran" card on me, but I am also a veteran that is still active with over 28 years of service and still he refused to "take care " of a fellow veteran."
