"The incident you may be referring to happened over a year ago at a different address. After review we find that you were charged $274 for an emergency dispatch fee and to diagnose the problem and determine what repair needs to be made. This charge was agreed to you prior to sending someone out. Very few electrical providers still provide after hours emergency service because the cost to provide after hours emergency service is cost prohibitive. We recommend emergency service only when absolutely necessary. In addition, you were charged an additional $284.64. Perhaps you do not remember that the charge was to repair wires that were not landed in the panel and also to replace a breaker. We don't typically use a customer supplied breaker. On the rare occasion that we do the invoice clearly states that there is no warranty on the breaker. There is no record of a customer supplied breaker. The total charge was $558.64 and not the $600 you remembered. I am not sure what you are talking about with the breaker in the pocket but this service professional has never been accused of something dishonest. I would like to think if someone did something dishonest you would have let someone know right away and not have waited over a year. We work very hard to run a professional organization providing the highest level of workmanship, materials and customer service at competitive prices. While we always appreciate feedback it would be helpful if it were accurate and timely."

"We appreciate your review. Times have changed and an electrical contractor can be held liable for electrical issues in your home if they were the last electrical contractor to work on your home. In addition it is good common sense to make sure your electrical system is safe. There are other electrical contractors that will still not do this but we and other professional electrical contractors typically do ask to review certain parts of your electrical system that may be affected by the work you request. There are many short cuts we chose not to take that could sacrifice safety or service. We keep up with the pricing of similar electrical contractors providing similar quality of customer service and materials and our prices are competitive. Furthermore, we will match any competitor who gives you a lower price for equivalent service."
