"1: My downspouts are 4X3 and the adapter to corrugated should fit over the downspouts not inside of it. The way it is won?t catch all of the water. 2 : I am expecting that the edges of the extension should be filled with dirt nearly to the top of block work to cover the cement around the blocks. Allow for some settling. Contacted him to fix. NO RESPONSE. Very disappointed about that. I?m 71 and I?ll have to drag bags of dirt to fix it."

We are a lawn care, landscaping and tree service that does our best to be "A Cut Above" the rest. In business since 2000. we pride ourselves on exceeding our customers expectations. We are licensed and insured with a guarantee on our work.

"A+++Absolutely gorgeous landscaping job! Everyone who comes to our home brags on the sidewalk and landscaping on the front of our house! These folks are a joy to work with! Honest, pleasant, hardworking... and they go above and beyond to make the customer happy! My yard looks SO much nicer! They have removed an old sidewalk and overgrown shrubs and replaced it with a beautiful stone walkway, a stone border, and lovely plants. Since that job was completed they have returned to fill and seed around a new concrete driveway, and to do mowing. Their prices are very reasonable, and best of all, these are people you can trust to do what they say they will. I will definitely be calling them for any type of landscaping!"

Higher ground is a holistic drainage company for residential and commercial properties. We specialize in renovations and maintenance for every thing affected by rainwater. In short if rainwater touches it we install repair and maintain it. The roof, gutter, flashing and drainage systems on your home are its armor against the elements. A weakness in this armor leaves your home open to damage causing leaks, foundation seepage and landscaping washout. Protect your home by having professionals maintain your gutters regularly. Our technicians are highly trained in spotting damage and wear before it becomes costly. At Higher Ground we do not sell a product, we sell solutions and results wrapped in polished customer service unparalleled in our industry. When it comes to your home maintenance and renovation budget know that everything drop counts.

"In the end, not well. We needed a leaking gutter seam fixed at our vacation house because it was dripping on our deck and ruining our stain. Higher Ground came out and made a repair in June 2022, which supposedly fixed the leak. We then arranged to have our deck restained. Since this is a vacation house, we weren't able to go back to the house until August 2022. At that point we discovered that the seam was still leaking onto our newly restained deck. We contacted Higher Ground via email and phone to try to get them to come out and finish the fix. They were not very responsive and got a little nasty about only allowing 10 days for "quality control issues" on their work, even after I explained that we are not down at the house full time to be able to see that it wasn't really fixed. So they refused to make good on their work. From my perspective, I paid for a leak repair and did not get a leak repair."

Since our founding in 1998, Lawn Butler has prided itself on ethical business practices. All workers are paid with a payroll check, including appropriate withholdings for income taxes, Social Security taxes, and Medicare taxes. Lawn Butler pays worker’s compensation insurance and unemployment insurance. We provide and require all employees to wear a uniform. We carry a two million dollar business liability insurance and are a registered member of the Professional Landcare Network. Our company is debt free and incredibly stable. We have over 25 employees. We are a business that operates ethically and strives to portray a business that cares about its employees as much as its customers, because without either, we would not be in business. If you cant trust the butler than who can you trust?

"They did a terrible job. We have had to buy more grass seed and trying to redo it. They should have gave us our money back"

Lawn Irrigation questions, answered by experts

Experts recommend aerating a lawn at least once a year. If you haven’t aerated your lawn recently, or if it has a significant amount of thatch buildup, you may need to aerate it twice annually for a few years. Keeping up with a regular aeration schedule helps ensure the long-term health of your yard.

Because it’s native to the central United States and Canada and is drought-tolerant, it typically is not difficult to grow. It requires very little maintenance and minimal watering beyond rainfall. Its hardy nature and unique look make it a favorite choice among people living in the western United States and other dry regions of the country.

You can reseed a rundown lawn with dead grass, but first, you should remove all of the dead parts and test the soil. Doing this will help you understand what’s killing your lawn so that you can fix it and prevent it from ruining your new grass. Once you’ve made the appropriate adjustments, you can rake, fertilize, and reseed.

The easiest way to rough up soil to accept grass seed and provide the best opportunity for its growth is to make several passes over the area with a garden tiller and rake away the loosened vegetation and debris. However, in some cases, very hard ground may require using a shovel or pick to break up pieces into smaller chunks that the tiller can handle more easily.

Experts use precise equipment to break up compacted soil, promoting healthy root growth and nutrient absorption.
