David is a true artist and also a master at executing his vision. The space is finally what I wanted it to be and he and his team are going to help me keep it healthy and beautiful for years to come. Dave and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They kept me advised on a daily basis about the work to be done. Dave goes above and beyond to make things right. His team has ingenious ways to cover small gaps and small stone cuts that make the paving look great. I was pleased with their work and hired them again to build a courtyard near the pool!

I recently had the pleasure of working with DMC Outdoor Living for my pool pavers and retaining wall installation. From start to finish they were professional, skilled, communicated often, and extremely detail oriented. Their commitment to customer satisfaction was evident throughout the entire project and the finished result far exceeded my expectations. Hired David Brakebill to do a new construction landscaping project based on the recommendation of my builder. He quoted me a price which we agreed on and asked for a deposit check to buy materials. I paid him 10K. He initially came onsite to begin the work. Unfortunately, he only completed about 5% of the total project and never came back to finish over a number of months. He took my money and never came to finish the job. I am currently suing him in small claims court. In the process of doing that, I have learned this is a common M.O for him. He will agree to do jobs and ask for deposits to buy materials, do a little work but never come back to complete...then when he gets sued, he loses, files bankruptcy and start all over again with a new company name. Check the BBB for him...look at the negative reviews on here....its clear this is how this man operates.

It went very well. The crew was knowledgeable and proficient. There was good communication and everything was completed in a timely manner. The finished product is beautiful.

David was very detailed in his assessment of what needed to be done to solve our issues with proper drainage. We had 3 other estimates with only one of those competitive with David’s price. We decided to go with David because his solution was the least intrusive to the property as a whole while solving the drainage issues. Overall, the professionalism of David and his team along with the excellent results of their work would give me good reason to recommend DMC Outdoor Living to anyone wanting a solid job completed by a competent work group.

This was my second major project with DMC. Already knew from experience, it would turn out great. It exceeded my expectations. David is extremely knowledgeable in his field. Cannot believe this is same yard! Highly recommend!

David is Excellent! His team did a phenomenal job on our pavers and patio. David took complete ownership of the job, finished on time, with excellent quality product. He is very professional and took personal care from start to end. Highly recommended.

He never completed, he never started. He just delivered a fiberglass pool shell. He had taken a $71,000 of money and never contacted me other than filing bankruptcy. DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR!

Materials were delivered on time. David and his crew showed up on time. The work was excellent. Work was done and site cleaned up in 3 days. I would highly recommend. I have already contracted to have David come back next spring for another project.

Worked with us to integrate our thoughts with other ideas to spruce up the front yard. (Curb appeal) Everything went very well, all ideas were presented to be agreed upon before plants were installed into the ground. Some landscapers don't understand this. DMC does! When finished, it looked even better than the vision we had pictured in our mind. Thank you DMC and staff!

Avoid this contractor at all costs! I Hired David Brakebill with DMC Outdoor Living to do a water feature in my backyard and signed a contract with a completion date of June 26th 2023 for $18K. As of today, Aug 30th, it is still not completed, even though he has cashed 3 checks totaling $18K. I have attempted to call him 30 times today with no response. He promised to send people over on numerous occasions, and then, like today, they never show and he never calls to reschedule or to explain. The only possible reason is he is a scam artist who takes your money but never finishes the project. Delay, delay, delay. I have been very generous, and have done most of the work on the existing water feature myself. So why did I pay him $18K? Don’t be a sucker. He is dishonest and does not keep his word.

Excellent work. With 25 years of experience David has provided an excellent service as we move step by step into our new pool. He sat our pool couple days ago and his crews were excellent and took great care in getting the pool around the house and no where near our neighbors property. Kind, courteous, and always addresses any questions or concerns. A+

David and his crew installed pavers and plants in our yard along with pavers around our pool last year. We paid over 43,000.00. He represented himself as such a trustworthy business man. But, he not. Since then our plants have all turned brown grass is now dirt. The driveway is collapsing. We have called texted numerous times. Was told they were under warranty back in December and would replace them. My husband texted him then he was going to wait until Spring now he won't even answer our calls. I am so disappointed. When he came last year I was impressed but after he got our money he didn't try to make things right. We are now in the process of having another company fix his mistakes.

David and his crew were hired through a pool company to complete the pavers around our new pool. As his work began, we were introduced to his meticulous work ethic and desire to make things perfect... we ended up hiring him and his crew to complete the landscaping in our entire backyard to compliment the beautiful work he had already completed around the pool. My new backyard paradise is 100% my vision completed to perfection by David and his crew at DMC Outdoor Living!! Their touches of artistic interpretation of my ideas have made it so desirable to be in and enjoy. This man was upfront from day one as to what he could do,the time frame it would take and the cost . As soon as the block was delivered him and his guys came out ,talked everything over with us as to what they were going to do and what we wanted .These guys worked in the cold , between rain breaks , in the mud and were very professional. My husband and I both work and had no problem leaving these guys working when we were not home. I would definitely hire them again in the future .

Extremely well. Can’t say enough about David and crew. From start to finish David was always available to answer our questions. We are happy with finished job and would recommend. We will use them again for future projects.

Finished product turned out nice, weather delays the last two weeks of the project got a little messy. Already enjoying the pool five days after completion!
