Tough job. Chuck got to me after a full day of hot work at other sites. Nevertheless he was very professional, clearly very experienced with this kind of problem. He put in several hours until dark, then returned the next day with a concrete saw and created new access into the tank. Great job.

  • R I JONES SEPTIC TANK

Early call to Jones Saturday morning. After reading prior review we decided to give them a call. Answered right away and put us on the schedule for 12:30. Gene called (owner) and said he would be there in 10 minutes and showed up at 11:30. Great service not only did he pump out the tank but hosed it down and cleaned it out as well. Great company to deal with. We couldn't ask for better service on the weekend. His price was the going rate and also helpful tips for upkeep in the future

  • KLEAN LATRINE
    5.0
I called Klean Latrine at 8am and John Long the owner said he would be out today. At about 4 he showed up ( same day, and not hit for an emergency trip) john was very professional. I didn't know where my septic tank was, john was able to find it in about 5 minutes. John told me what I need to do to keep my tank running well along with my leaching lines. Nice guy, trust worthy and I would recommend him to everyone

  • KELPRO FIRE & WATER
    5.0
From beginning to end they took care of the septic problem that we had. Kelpro was prompt and efficient. We did not have to make another call but to them. They took care of the rest. If they had not been so prompt, the sewage would have gotten into our downstairs. Thank you Kelpro

  • JIMMY ROBINSON SEPTIC TANK
    5.0
This went very well, I called him on Saturday 8-13-2016 and he was able to come out from Supply, NC in which i live in Loris SC on the same day to empty my septic tank. When he arrived 3 hours after our phone conversation he opened the tank and said we did not need our septic emptied that the problem was the lines were clogged up so he un clogged the lines and had as up and running within an hour time. He was very nice and friendly and the fact he came out at last minute and on a Saturday was perfect for my little septic issue

It was excellent and they did very well. They were very communicative as far as giving us a time as to when they were going to be out and also confirming if the work was done. Septic Tank Service FAQ

    1. What are the signs your septic tank is full?

Answer: There are several signs that indicate your septic tank could be full. These include standing water over your septic tank, a strong odor coming from your yard, gurgling water, slow drains, or a sewage backup. While many of these signs could also be indicative of a clogged system, they should all be checked out by a professional ASAP to avoid costly damages. In the absence of any of these signs, it’s recommended that septic tanks be emptied every 3 to 5 years on average.

    2. How often should a septic tank be serviced?

Answer: On average, septic tanks should be serviced every 3 to 5 years in the absence of any worrying signs that the tank is clogged or full. The size of your septic tank, the number of people living in your home, and your average water usage will all impact how often your septic tank needs to be serviced.

    3. What are the most common causes of septic tank failure?

Answer: The most common cause of septic tank failure is improper maintenance. Failing to pump a septic tank on the appropriate schedule will cause septic tank failure and likely result in a costly septic tank repair or replacement. On average, septic tanks should be pumped every 3 to 5 years, but the size of your tank, the number of people in your home, and your average water usage may shorten or extend this timeframe.

    4. How much does it cost to pump a septic tank?

Answer: The cost to pump a septic tank is $400 on average or about $0.30 per gallon. The size of your septic tank, as well as local labor costs, will impact the cost of pumping your septic tank. Most septic tanks are between 600 and 2,000 gallons in size, meaning the average cost range is between $180 to $600.

    5. How much does it cost to install a septic system?

Answer: The cost to install a septic tank system is between $3,060 and $9,810, on average. The size of the septic tank you choose, the land you’re installing it on, the type of system you choose, and local labor costs will all influence the total cost of installing a septic system. Anaerobic septic tanks (those that don’t need oxygen) typically cost between $3,000 and $8,000. Aerobic systems, which utilize oxygen to activate bacteria and are popular on smaller properties, usually cost between $10,000 and $20,000.

    6. How long does a septic system last?

Answer: When septic systems are well maintained, they can last up to 30 years or more. If a septic system isn’t properly maintained, such as when it isn’t pumped regularly, it may malfunction and require costly repairs or a premature replacement. In general, septic tank pumping is recommended every 3 to 5 years to ensure the septic system lasts as long as possible.
