"Utilizing All Service Moving for the move was a very positive experience. They had good communication, answering several questions prior to the move and did a final confirmation just prior to the move date. As for the physical move itself, Jose, Abraham, and Alberto were polite, diligent, and careful moving the many items, and managed to complete the move more quickly than anticipated."

"Punctual, professional and efficient. I'd use this moving company again to move. Hopefully not in the near future because moving is stressful but Great Nation Moving made it as smooth and easy as it could've been."

"This moving company was wonderful! They came to evaluate the volume and arrived several days ahead of time to prep for the move. My move was a bit complicated involving moving from home, taking furniture to and from a storage unit and my house is on pilings so many steps involved Everyone working was cordial and flexible they couldn t have done enough to be helpful and polite! Ian even helped me fix an oven door during the move I can t say enough about this company! Very pleased and will definitely call them again for any moves and also recommend them to friends and family!"

"The total price came in slightly higher than the estimate, however, I moved during peak time... gas prices were at their all time high. Three years earlier the same move cost 100 percent lower, then again, I moved in non peak time..."

"Nationwide made my moving experience easy. This is my third time moving cross country. The other two times prior were a disaster. Nationwide Moving really came through. Handle my belongings with care. Very polite crew and stood by their estimate and did not increase my move. I highly recommend."

Moving questions, answered by experts

Before unpacking in Myrtle Beach, use moisture-resistant packing supplies and place dehumidifiers in rooms prone to dampness. Check for signs of hidden water damage, especially in basements and near windows. Label boxes clearly and use surge protectors for electronics due to frequent storms. For electrical, plumbing, or HVAC concerns, or if you notice structural problems, contact a local moving contractor or specialist right away.

Helpful?

Combining your move with upgrades in Myrtle Beach is often efficient. Consider installing humidity control systems, upgrading to impact-resistant windows, or refinishing floors before your belongings arrive. Tackle landscaping or generator installation while the home is empty for easier access. Coordinate with contractors for off-season scheduling, but avoid major exterior work during peak hurricane months or periods of high humidity for best results.

Helpful?

Myrtle Beach features full-service moving contractors, specialists for beachfront properties, and experts in hurricane preparation and moisture control. You’ll also find climate-controlled storage providers, movers experienced with high-rise condos, and teams familiar with gated community requirements. Supporting professionals include cleaning services, utility coordinators, and home inspectors who understand the unique challenges of coastal living in SC.

Helpful?

In Myrtle Beach, prioritize projects that address coastal weather and humidity. Install storm shutters or impact-resistant windows, and inspect roof fastenings to prepare for hurricane season. Seal windows and doors to reduce moisture intrusion, and treat metal fixtures to prevent salt air corrosion. Set up a security system, test pool equipment, and ensure utilities are connected for a smooth transition into your new home.

Helpful?

For a hassle-free move in Myrtle Beach, schedule your relocation outside of hurricane season and monitor local weather forecasts. Arrange for climate-controlled storage if needed, and confirm utility and internet connections in advance. Review any HOA rules or permit requirements for your neighborhood. Keep important documents in waterproof containers, and create a detailed inventory to stay organized throughout the moving process.
