"Jason, Melody, and team did a beautiful job on installing our luxury vinyl plank flooring. They moved all the furniture and put everything back just as we had it. They made sure the installation was perfect! No need to look further for your flooring needs. This team is the best! I highly recommend them. Five star service!!!"

"Joe came to our house on a Monday and did the measuring. He got back to us the same day with a quote. The following Monday, three men came to do the work and were finished in about six hours. They moved all the furniture, removed the old carpeting and padding and installed the new carpeting and padding. They were very courteous and careful with everything and we are so happy with our new carpeting. I loved the way everything went so smoothly. I would recommend Carpet King to anyone."

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

New flooring in Myrtle Beach enhances daily comfort by resisting sand, moisture, and allergens common to coastal areas. Durable, easy-to-clean surfaces simplify maintenance, while slip-resistant options add safety—especially important for families and rental properties. Choosing light, reflective flooring can also brighten interiors and create a more spacious feel, making your home more enjoyable and practical for everyday living.

Helpful?

Upgrading your flooring in Myrtle Beach can make your home more attractive to buyers, especially in a market known for vacation properties and coastal living. Modern flooring installation—such as luxury vinyl plank, engineered hardwood, or porcelain tile—signals quality and durability. These choices stand up well to local conditions and help your property compete with newer homes, boosting both value and resale appeal.

Helpful?

In Myrtle Beach, homes with crawl spaces, irregular room shapes, or open-concept layouts may need extra planning for flooring installation. Signs like uneven floors, soft spots, or visible cracks suggest underlying issues that could complicate the process. If your home has a history of high moisture or flooding, it’s wise to have a flooring contractor assess the subfloor and recommend solutions tailored to local conditions.

Helpful?

In Myrtle Beach, opt for flooring materials like luxury vinyl plank, engineered hardwood, bamboo, or porcelain tile, all of which handle humidity and salt air well. Use moisture barriers and vapor barriers during installation to protect against local climate challenges. Marine-grade adhesives and a quality underlayment add extra protection, while a moisture meter helps ensure the subfloor is ready for long-lasting results.

Helpful?

For a seamless flooring project in Myrtle Beach, begin by confirming your flooring contractor’s experience with local homes and climate challenges. Schedule installation during periods of lower humidity and allow extra time for material acclimation. Double-check subfloor conditions for moisture or unevenness, and coordinate delivery of all supplies in advance. Clear communication with your installer helps avoid delays and ensures your flooring project stays on track.
